Is there a good source you now of to find used or even broken fire alarms? Any suggestions would be great. My 6 year old is fascinated by all these alarms and pull stations. I would love to get him one to have
Hi there. Yes, certainly. I would go to eBay; it's a great source. Doing a search for "fire alarm pull station" or "fire alarm horn/strobe" would get you some cheap results. You can also narrow down your search to ads listed as "for parts or not working" as well by using the eBay search filter.
Hey, our high school has Edwards integrities set on low volume continuous (still stupidly loud) and Edwards bells in the portables. I was wondering what your opinion of the integrity is and if you like it or dislike it? To me, I don't really like it because of the pitch and volume

Why do they waste all that plastic when they are just doing the strobe their noobs when I design alarms, I will make strobes like for example the small simplex strobes because they don't waste plastic
Yeah, Simplex is changing the configuration of their already existing models, which I think is a pretty dumb move. Those things don't look right upside down.

Nope, it's a 9838. The 9838 and 9846, to my knowledge, are the exact same horn, but the 9846 is the higher decibel model.
