    I see so many people use scalp oils but I sadly can not. Anytime I put oil on my scalp I get flakes and itchiness so I have to avoid that part of haircare. The buns are great. I also like to put my hair in two braids and wrap them around my head and pin them so they look like crown braids since I can't cornrow or french braid. Sometimes I'll put 4 -8 twists in and pin those up into an updo style.

    I always put my hair into two braids in the winter, but I will definitely try to use some scalp oil and a little bit more product. Because I think my leave in is a little bit to lightweight as the only product for a hole week. Thanks for your video ☺️

    If I use a regular conditioner and leave it in my hair my hair will turn into a brick. But the Cammille Rose honey hydrate leave in does the trick for me

      yes some conditioners are like that, while other conditioners soften the hair so much that you never have to worry about super crunchy hair

    +shawntas Way- thankyou for this video. I have predominantly 4a hair with some 3c and all I see is videos with mini - medium twists as a protective style option for type 4 hair. Low porosity low porosity. Medium-lower density fine strands. I was starting to feel like it’s my only option but f I want to get past armpit length (I’ve hit a plateau for years I feel) when my hair doesn’t respond well min-medium size twist. One question how should type 4a maintain at night if wearing the bun style in this video.? I need to minimise manipulation.

    The directions for the herbal conditioner days to wash out after a few minutes but you leave it in. It's so hard figuring out what to do between trying to follow what the manufacturer says and watching these videos.

    • @ShawntasWay
      @ShawntasWay  Год назад +2

      it's all about your preference and the product you're using...for me when it comes to conditioners especially...I use my own judgement on if I want to rinse it out or not..for example with this brand I use the conditioner as a leave in because this companies leave in conditioner is far too thin for me. There are some conditioners that are very thick and do not work well as leave ins so I will wash them out

      It’s important to follow the instructions on the bottle as you don’t know how the product is affecting your hair after that. It could be causing long term damage, or it could be doing nothing at all. But leaving regular conditioner in longer than stated on the bottle does not increase the benefits.
