so the fielder cannot touch the boudary line while the ball is in their hand , if thats the case its called a six, so you will see more videos of how fielders do some crazy stuff to avoid that
Yep
I'm not sure that particular catch would have been 6. I was caught just off the ground in the field of play so it would have been 4. I might be wrong though, it just makes sense for it to be 4 given where the ball would have landed if not caught.
@@utha2665 it's six. Ball would have been grounded but fielder took it boundry while it wasn't grounded. Law 19.4 states it's a six
@@_Tom.Riddle Yep, ok, I stand corrected, thanks for the clarification.
"cannot touch the boundary line while the ball is in" contact with any part of their body; not just the hand!.
At 12:08 you just witnessed the greatest ever fielder in the game of cricket. The Legend of Jonty Rhodes.... Legend
The "Greatest fielder of the last 35 years" to be more precise.
So he's a "double legend" then, tika1 ?
You guys should also take into account that a cricket ball is much harder than a baseball and the fielders catch it with their bare hands. That makes it more impressive
The first acrobatic team that cricketing world saw was '"South Africa"'.
They came really hard on all the other cricketing countries in the world.
That's when other cricketing countries decided that we should have such acrobatic fielders in the team the necessity was created.
So hats off to Jonty Rhodes the lone South African player who showed the world some acrobats while fielding and shielding runs.... Runs outs....
Good credits to South Africa coming hard on to the cricketing world after 22 year ban on them (Apartheid reason).
right they were so powerful... it's a shame they're always unlucky in tournaments
The best fealder of the cricket histry from South Africa Jonty Rodhes
They really were a great team.
Yeah the Acrobatic fielding, started by South Africans and Mastered by Kiwis
@Joel Brewer Mate, Rhodes defined acrobatics in fielding and he was the master and noone could touch him at its peak. I am Australian and I can freely admit that.
They know whom to put on the thumbnail😂😂 btw loved this video❤️❤️
Keep these cricket videos coming. Loving them
They Nailed it 👍
Keep reacting more cricket videos ✊🤛👌😎💪
The wicket keeper catches video was made by someone who just watched a Dozon of cricket matches and he decided to make a video out of them 🤣
his sound was like he just came from school and going to sleep now🥱
Cricket is bigger than religion🙏🙏 Love from India🇮🇳
It never be, control you words
@@Rat.s To HIM it is, so shut up. That's where You " fall down" Zealot !!
Finally someone selected a good cricketing video to react 😊
Playing cricket at school I dislocated my finger twice. This was due to not enough practice catching the ball resulting in poor technique. Yes, you do bruise your ribs diving for the ball.
as com former cricket play i would like to point out that backward catch is v v tough...it may seem easy but it deserves on 2nd spot
Waiting For your Reaction T20 World Cup 2022... India Vs Pakistan Highlight......23 Oct 2022
Hey hey hey look like we got some more existing friends for reaction 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳😍😍😍
Till now you have seen great catches completed, but I would like to see you guys react to easiest catches dropped😀,
There are some hilarious and funny catches dropped. At times we can see funny incidents on cricket ground.
You could have watched the official ecb's top 40 catches list. Believe me, it's just the best.
Just subscribed. Watching you two be truly amazed by a sport that by definition, is not an American sport, it's great viewing for me. Also, brilliant to see unrehearsed and genuine reactions. The USA has a cricket team. It would be amazing to see them do well. But I feel that it will always play second, third or even eighth fiddle to a lot of other sports.
Cricket is a game of tremendous skill at so many levels👍
This bunch of catches are from treasure ! 👌👌👌👌👌🙂
Super video nice reaction ❤
'That's the king'
That was unexpected
The king supremacy 👑💞
bro video is incomplete without abd rcb catches :(
Love your interest in the game of cricket and your reactions.
Field placement are pretty specific and quite important.
The bowler along with the captain will direct fielders to certain positions on the field to protect to stop the batsman
from gaining a run and stop the ball ,whilst endevouring to get the batsman out by either catch or runout.
Basically its saying if the batsman does hit the ball ,there is a fielder to cover that area if the batsman does hit the ball.
So its up to the bowler to bowl the ball in the area he wants to draw the batsman in to playing a shot, hopefully in the direction of his field placement.
Batsman usually knows that the bowler wants him to hit the ball in the direction of the fielder so its up to the batsman to improvise and either try hit the ball between fielders along the ground to try gain a run or two, or try hit the ball over the fielder so the fielder has to run and chase hopefully the batsman can get 1 or 2 runs before the fielder can throw the ball back towards the pitch to either bowler/wicketkeeper or another close fielder to effect a runout or restrict the batsman trying to gain another run.
Basically its the batsman that has to try and change or outwit the bowler and fielders, by changing how he plays the ball that has been bowled at him.
When you watch videos of cricket watch where the batsman stands and their stance from when the bowler is running in to bowl and when the bowler is about to release the ball and how the batsman chooses to play the ball he is facing.
Being from NZ I love this game in all formats of it but ODI and 20/20 are one day matches and gets people from all walks of life into the game.
Hopefully this gives a slightly better insight to fielding positions. I've dropped a link below if you are interested in a little knowledge of fielders and fielder placement in cricket.
Not only do batsman have their worthy skills to play cricket ,but bowlers too.(as you no doubt know about in terms of Shane Warne as one example being a slow leggy spin bowler.)
Check out - (www.youtube.com/@TheUltimateCricketer) he explains the fielding positions in the Game of Cricket
pretty well.
👌CRICKET 👌😊
Nice reaction 👍
From: INDIA
In that one catch where the player touched the rope after catching the ball, that was considered a 4 because the ball was still in his hand as he touched the boundary. That’s why a lot of the ones where it’s close to the boundary you’ll see them catching it, throwing it away from themselves before they land on the ground and then running back over the boundary to catch it again.
Not 4.. But 6 may be.. Because the ball didn't touch the ground until he made contact with the boundary rope.
It was a 6
The guy counting down sounds so crestfallen 😂
Now as you know more about cricket, just react to six sixes hit by yuvraj singh... You will witness what power hitting means with perfection.
Keep doing these cricket and good Bollywood movies reaction videos, you'll get ton of Indian support
Cricket catches are endlessly amazing ... particularly as there is so much played by both men and women internationally. The best against the best always produces greatness. The women are just as impressive. Would love to see you react to the AFL (Australian Football League). No, (as they say) it's not rugby. It's uniquely Australian and shows some of the most exceptional skills in sport. I see you watched "Biggest Hits" some years ago but there is so much more to our great game than that. For every hard hit, there are hundreds of examples of aerial catches (aka Marks) and goal kicking that defy the laws of physics (or prove them!). 😊
and number oneeeee
Please react to "The Business of Virat Kohli" and "How Ipl became the most richest sports league in India"...You guyz will love these videos...keep reacting ✌️
What makes these catches so awesome is a cricket ball is twice as hard as a baseball and they catch it with no gloves except for the keeper.
Nice video 😍
Love from India ❤❤❤
The countdown voice🤣🤣🤣🤣
that guy who was counting down is the real legend
King 👑🇮🇳 Kohli always in my heart ❤️
Coolest reactors youtubers ever .
You touched on strategy, It’s annoying when you have a right handed and a lefty at bat because every time the batters swap ends the whole field has to mirror their placement. So you may have to run all the way accross the field to the other side for one bowl and then run back accross straight away every time a run is scored
yes some players are positioned strategically cuz the captain will have the bowler bowl in such a certain line that it's expected for the batsman to make mistake and loft the ball to those areas and get caught. and for some other times the players are simply brilliant
Love from India🇮🇳🇮🇳 where cricket is just not a game, but emotions
That ball is really effing hard.
you can watch best ipl catches of each season and even best catches of kieron pollard
not sure if you have covered all
you can make a reaction on shoib akhtar..words fastest cricket bowler..who injured batters so badly they can never forget..
Cricket is the most complex, and most dangerous sport of all, it requires mental strength, amazing strategy, great thinking, atheletic spirit, perseverance, determination...
Rhodes 🔥 All time Favourite ❤
You have to take the catch and stay or keep the ball inside. If you go over the line while touching the ball than its a batsman's point or run.
if you are going over the line or rope then you have to throw the ball up in the air and catch again after jumping in the playing field or throw in the playing area so it doesnot counts as batsman's run
Yes he is king 👑🙌🏻❤️
Please make a video on the fielding of sir Ravindra Jadeja 🙏❤️
You should check out AFL Australian football league it's 150 years old
the bowler and captain set their field to where they feel the ball is most likely to be hit. So the bowler and field are working in tandem
They throw it up to show they have control of the ball. It adds to the theater of the match
check out the man who introduced the 360° shots in cricket ab devilliers
I love the fact that you guys are getting into the cricket world. When it comes to fielding, you MUST look into the Godfather of modern fielding, Jonty Rhodes of South Africa. He changed the game Forever
I recommend you to watch ms dhoni finishing skills... You will like it for sure and his skills in finishing is just INSANE..!
React to liam livingstone humongous sixes, sure you will be amazed and your interest in cricket will be increased after that

Who is narrating this video compilation..
I was waiting for Jadeja instead I hear something Unreal & Alien 👽 😂
11:30 yes that will be counted as boundary, means its a score for batting team as the fielder touched the boundary line while catching....if he hadn't touched the boundary, it would've been catch out....
And he dropped a catch today.
Watch ind vs pak....I bet you'll love it
Thanks for the reaction.
If they got no 8 I jersey they are becoming no 1 fielder🤯
Check out the craziest catch every. Angelo Matthews and Mahela Jayawardena catch in a t20 Vs Australia
They are throwing at the wickets😂 that's what you like
He is soo enjoyfull to watch kel Rahul sixes in world cricket
There's one great saying
" Catches win Matches"
Fielders are placed depending on the bowler and whether the batsman is left or right handed and the state of the game at the time.
React to this year world cup catches
If you speak about flying catches you should do the react about Sri Lankan retired player "Tilakaratne Dilshan"❤️🇱🇰
At 07:04 when HE caught it, you can hear the commentators say " ONE OF THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME " - that's "SIR Ravindra Jadeja"...
At 11:02 when #RahulDravid catches it, commentators say "Catch of the season"...
MAKE NEXT VIDEO ON TOP FIELDING EFFORTS 🥶🥵
Nice reaction, please make a reaction video on SACHIN TENDULKAR the God of cricket and if you want to see some stunning catches and fielding see jonty Rhodes fielding videos
Y'all gotta feel a cricket ball fr btw it's freaking harder than a baseball
Bear in mind the ball is about 4 the weight of a baseball and coming in at the speed of a fastball but bouncing first.
You can see that most of the best catches are taken by allorounders 😁
hello guys, you have to watch video of fastest bowling and bowled. and highlights of t20 WorldCup 2022 ehich is running now.
u should watch ipl catches they are the best .
Question: how do you see a small ball when it goes so high up and you look up at the sunny bright sky 🤯
raina and jadeja are the best fielders in team india
You guys should watch some of IPL catches they are also good.
You should check out best runout videos.. There's also women in that..
Rt now WBBL is going on in Australia can check it..
& Jonty Rhodes is best fielder of all time... Look at his videos..
You should react on ab de Villiers catch
All cricket fielding positions have names & fielders are strategically placed it's not like.. Baseball shortstop for every close fielder.. Rt stop, leftstop, that stop this stop😅😅
It should be possible to find a cricket ball in a large store with a sport section. Hopefully. The traditional red leather balls are heavier than you think and slightly larger than a baseball. The seam is also not as pronounced than a baseball. It was red as both teams traditionally in the UK at least wore white uniforms and padding so a red ball was easier to see.
Still not easy to see.
No, a cricket ball is slightly smaller than a baseball - it has to be between 8.81 and 9 inches in circumference, whereas a baseball is between 9 and 9.25 inches in circumference. A cricket ball is also very slightly heavier than a baseball and significantly harder.
A Cricket ball is slightly smaller (22.4 -22.9 cm circumference) in size in comparison with baseball (22.9 - 23.5 cm circumference), it does mean cricketers are catching a smaller and heavier ball, without the use of gloves
react to rohit sharma 264 it is the highest run by a batsman in a single odi match
When I was about 12, that's almost 3 decades back...gpt hit by a ball on my right cheek bone. Within a minute I got a swelling and I couldn't open my left eye for almost a month.
CRICKET MIGHT LOOK LIKE GOLF...BUT CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS, if it wants to prove itself.
Cricket is emotion of Indians
React on most hilarious moments in cricket

Hey can u react to

Ab de velliers
If you want to see great bowling checkout Shane Warne 💪💪💪
Yes I also suggested this in their last video. RIP Warnie
Reaction on jadeja fielding
Look for a fielding positions in cricket videos for more information
yes this cricket balls are made of all sorts of hard materials like wood, leather and cork and might really bad if you get hit by it. we know about the unfortunate and untimely passing of Australian batsman Philip huges when got a hit to the head.
there are certain techniques while taking different sort of catches of efficiency and less damage to the hand. but still I bet it hurts so I think it really comes down the dedication, endurance, habit and techniques by the players.
you should go for ind vs pak match highlights the greatest rivalry in cricket history
It is bit funny to see, you missed one of the greatest batsman like Sanath Jayasuriya in this...
You should watch ravindra jadeja and virat kohli catches also that's unbelievable 😍
There is a double catch where the fielder catches and is falling over the boundary rope so throws the ball back on to the field and then returns from outside the boundary rope to complete the catch stopping the 6 runs and catching out the batsman... I think it might be a game with England cricket team
Reactions to ms dhoni movie trailer. And. Reactions to 2011 world🏆.
