Thanks Stuart dont look at it buy it, you know you want it! i wont tell the wife haha! Yes its a stunner and 🤞 no bad reports as yet! An improvement on the Hattons 66.Thanks for watching and have a weekend, cheers Nick.
FABULOUS Nick!!! i think you are right ,the BEST so far!..the sound is amazing..Accurascale have nailed it and you have nailed it with this brilliant video of it!!!...you've captured it perfectly coming in and out of Redshed Lane..classic all the best, dave😊
That is a really detailed and very cool class 66 from Acurascale, I love how it is DCC fitted I enjoyed this video like I enjoy your other videos Cheers Callum
Thanks so much Colin so glad you enjoyed and much appreciated, had a good chat with Mike the Antman, dont blush, he holds you in high regard! As i do too. Have a great weekend snd thanks.
That is brilliant Nick! Lovely accurscale 66 in ex EWS colours too. Another gooden from you! Sounded amazing. Very nice indeed! Really enjoyed, thanks for sharing! Take care, have an awesome day and all the best! Jamie
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks Jamie much appreciated, it is rather light but matches the original few exactly! Hsve a another wet flaming dsy again! Cheers Nick.
Not many of are gonna disagree with you on this Redshed. However Mrs Redshed may have a view on the price!😁. Great model and of course THAT box design, wow! Love the colour, and the sound does really capture the prototype. Enjoy for many years my friend.
First thing I noticed is the fit & finish, this one is dressed up to go to the Ball where the Hattons one just got out of bed....especially those step handrails, everything looks solid and fitted straight & proper unlike it's predecessor.
Absolutely agree Steve, your right! Im sure you will agree that at long long last rhe sounds are absolutely spot on in all departments. Now the colour or tone is clearly to light but in fairness it matches the early examples ie 66001/7002//003 and 004 perfectly. And that included the red side and roof radiator grills initially painted until they were all turned out black. Oh i thought what no wing mirrors that EWS adopted! Rhey were added some time later. So attention to detail is pretty good. Do you still have a few 92's? And Cavelex 56's too? Absolutely amazing and the attention to detail is wow! The sound is perfect too.
@@RedShedNick Yes this one sounds lighter which is correct, found the Hattons 66 sound was too heavy or deep. Yes got 2 92's as in 92010 & 92020 and 4 Cav 56's which to me are the benchmark alongside the AS 37. Can't wait to get my initial 4 AS 66's now that all my Hattons 66's are gone/sold off. Cheers Steve
@@sapphirejunction8993Excellent the 56's best ever RTR surely? Taking the body off, so god damned easy! Absolutely desperate for DCR 091 cant get them for love nor money! Have 049 Colas and preordered 56202 also Colas 'Peco' from Rainbow. Dont tell me you have the BR twin pack 56's? One on Ebay with sound 700.00!! Too much for me right now, definitely top of my wish list, If you think about it spit in down 350.00 per loco is it that unreasonable as its outstanding in every way, hmm.
@@RedShedNick Yes the Cav 56 is probably the best, has the best sound no doubt. I've got the GBRf twin pack, 56091, 56049 and have also pre-ordered 56302 and yes they are worth £350 each with sound if you look at it that way especially they are now long sold out. Also have the Cav 60 on pre-order, both Cappagh & DCR from Key Publishing and thinking of getting the GBRf one as well but not committed yet on that one.
Glad you like it! Thanks so much Barrie, it looks and sounds very good, but dont tell the wife about it, or I'll be in the dog house haha! Hopr you have a great weekend!
I got lucky with it Howard, it was a customer of my friend Jim at the Locoshed in Manchester, it was on ebay initially i spotted it and he removed it and sold it to me a little cheaper, but still rushed me 350.00,dont tell the wife though!
What an excellent addition to you collection of sheds! The detail is truly outstanding on this model.
Thank you very much! It certainly is Andrew, glad you like it, cheers Nick.
