@@coastofkonkan Well most ancient kings were very exploitative but at least we can appreciate the culture they left behind. But Maharashtra also has some beautiful architecture too like the Ellora Caves. I’d love to travel to any part of India though.

It's too dry for my liking. According to me, Himachal and Uttrakhand are the most beautiful states blessed with majestic views of nature and mountains. Too many trails each hiding an adventure of their own. Too many peaks to conquer. You can't really do much except sightseeing in Rajasthan.
Such a great beauty of Rajasthan (the Land of Hindu Kings). I feel goosebumps by seeing it.

The architecture is majestic, graceful and unparalleled. When even elephants are dwarfed in their presence, it gives you an idea of the grand scale upon which these structures were built. Simply magnificent.

Because India has a lot of influence on south east asian architecture through maritime trade routes. Infact many South East Asian Hindu and buddhist dynasties like Sailendra, Khmer, Champa, Chola Rajahnate were originally South and East Indian traders who migrated and settled there.
Ankor watt is hindu temple built by decenders of ancient Indians in combodia, Indian influenced entire South East Asian countries so u ll find lot of similarities
North Indian architecture is so breathtaking. Your cinematography skills justified the magnificence of these places perfectly.
As a northie I find south temples breathtaking!! You guys have ancient temples while almost all temples got broken due to invasions here but still!! ❤

‘Fort’ is an understatement. These are huge castles, far beyond anything seen in Europe. Castle or fortress would be a better word.

I have visited all of them except Junagadh Fort, Bikaner. I am from India. Apart from all this there are Jaigarh and Nahargarh Fort and the City palaces of Jaipur and Udaipur and also Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur.
