let's be honest; this movie should've been Rated R in theaters but they kept in PG-13 anyway. I'm glad they releasing the Unrated Cut. Hopefully the sequel 2.0 will be Rated R, with more f bombs, gruesome and violent scenes.
I think they will shoot it in rated R first than turn it PG-13 again cause of how financially successful it was since I’ll be honest I don’t think it would’ve been as financially successful if it was Rated R just cause minors wouldn’t have been able to go see it but obviously us slasher fans wanted to see gory kills and we will be getting that with the unrated cut. So I think they will do that with the sequel too which isn’t a bad strategy to make money tbh.

I really enjoyed it even though I was rooting for Megan to be kind again. I love her.

You guys make no sense not releasing a 4K of this. It's a box office smash, yet you cheaped out on this movie, Black Phone last year, and Violent Night which was a sleeper hit. Yet you put out 4k of utter bombs like Doom and RIPD, and Halloween Ends while a hit didn't come close to M3gan but you managed to churn out a UHD of that one. Your business model is schizophrenic to say the least.
Plus we are getting DTS-HD MA 7.1 audio tracks instead of the original Dolby Atmos track. This one is no exception.
Usually there won't be early release of 4K for horror movies

Until I discovered this edition and why it was re-edited to an PG-13 rating, I was disappointed because this should be gorier as that was planned before.
I hope it's out on DVD in the UK, also an UNRATED/UNCUT VERSION that has the death scenes with more gore than the cinematic release.
I watched M3GAN at the cinema
and it's far better than the remake/reimagined version of Child's Play (which I was disappointed in watching so much so that I left the cinema and demanded a refund because it was insulting my intelligence for it's Wokeness in the story - I refuse to watch Woke Snowflake rubbish)
So, I'm looking forward to the DVD release of M3GAN and it's sequel that's due in 2025/6 - which is, so far, titled: M3GAN 2.0

Nope that’s the original version of the first film before changed into a pg-13 version, the real sequel M3gan 2.0 will be released in January 17, 2025.
