I think siya Masuku should not be called up in 2024. He just came from an injury. He is playing well but he can still improve. Plumtree said we haven't seen the best of him. Let him ease into his peak form at the sharks, its only his 1st season. We don't want him to choke in test rugby cause of premature selection. Masuku is playing with alot of Boks at the Sharks. This will only make him become stronger. Lastly, he's still learning the sharks system with a new coach. Don't now confuse him with learning a new Bok system. He needs to organize his backline for defence a bit better. Sharks as a whole are appalling on defence.
I would love for Masuku to receive an alignment call-up and even earn a Test cap, but unfortunately, age isn't on his side. Rassie will be focused on building for the future, so players like Nohamba and Hendrikse are more likely to get the nod unless Masuku maintains his Man of the Match performances. I wouldn't be surprised if Bosch got a call up before Masuku but you never know but I just don't see it happening.
While Masuku is doing great things, leave him where he is this year. Let him consolidate his gains. Then bring him into alignment camps next year. Libbock and Pollard are 1st choice. Then we have other options currently in the alignment camp. Won't be surprised to see Willemse have a stint.
The days of having a Pat Lamby type flyhalf are over. If you look at all the flyhalves Rassie has picked, they have always been 1.8m+ guys. The game have moved away from playing small 10's.

You still have Sasha Mnogenzulu who is the future at 10. Options are unfortunately against this guy no matter how well he’s playing, he’ll need a lot more MOTM performances..
In my opinion i give him a bit more game time. But yeah I think he should get a chance. Even if he starts from bench. Just to lock him in for future Springbok teams, otherwise some Euro or Japanese club will probably buy him up. We can let that happen. He’s a great talent. Solid in everything he does.
