they try to make it look like she was sat down to a side. She did sit down for a moment, but I think it is part of the pre-show, for the artist to see how the scene looks like
I wish she would personally address this because so many people are supportive fans of her, she must be totally freaked out, I could only imagine what she's saying/feeling today.

her manager says she is not paying attention to it. I saw her after the countdown and she looked ok, like she knew it was not her fault
this is not classified as a proper rehearsal... its what you call In the entertainment world a "Run thru"......even the dancers didn't get a chance to do a proper rehersal to get the feel of the stage and space limitations.... it now all makes perfect sense why she fucked up...,,,but I can see mariahs dilemma .... it should've been a closed stage not accessible to the public....theres people everywhere....I think she was pissed off because of that.......she wasn't given the chance to do a proper rehearsal and sound checks....and so on.....this def is a sabotage........and this is only the beginning for her.....
I think you're spot on, every commentary I've seen they've gone in on her and lied basically. Maybe just like Whitney, it's been decided her back catalogue will make more money than what she could put out in the future. God knows what really goes on when you roll in those circles.

Unfortunately, this one happened to broadcast on national television in front on millions. D:
Isn´t this exactly what the production company said happened? She rehearsed where she was going to be standing, moved around the stage holding her golden mic and then sat down and had a stand in do the rest but didn´t actually do a soundcheck, you didn´t hear her sing anything here either.

I think the soundcheck part was blown because the earpieces were not working since earlier that day
Enough with the sound check BS! How is a sound check three hours before a show starts going to make equipment work at the time of the show? She told them before she went on the inner ears were messed up...DCP does not denied that she told them before she went on. She even said it standing next to RS. So I beg of you explain: How was doing a sound check going to make the inner ears work when it needed to...uncheck does not equal a look into the future.
My thought excatly. The stage should have been cleared the moment she was on it, all those people standing around, the stage manager walking around, the dancers squeezing by. Looks all camera blocking and no full run thru. I mean they report her ears didnt work at sound check so it's likely why she wasnt able to sound check at all. I mean I didn't hear the track at all, not even a little
This is sound check they dont have the speakers for the audience on that would ruin the performance but her mic is on and she was singing it was playing through her ear monitors and the sound tech to get all the levels right real performes know this
Marría Catchy I have to disagree. Her songs stopped charting, and the last song that did had a fairly high percentage of dislikes on RUclips (for her standards). If you’ve watched Rupaul’s Drag Race, there’s a challenge where they “worship” Mariah and all they bring up is how all she does is lip sync, literally nothing about the countless live vocals, not even a mention of the whistle tones. Most young people in my country (U.K.) dislike her (including myself at first) because all they know her for was AIWFCIY and lip syncing, almost forgetting that the Daydream era or the TEOM era exist.

jorge céspedes putting out an album every year in 90s is not lazy. sleeping 2 or 3 hours or not sleeping for 48hrs is not lazy. writing the lyrics and melody for her songs is time consuming and draining. up in the studio rehearsing and singing at 4 am again not lazy. Mariah is a director as well..so wanted to see how the show looks to the audience. very meticulous. you know nothing about a singer songwriter producer and actress day to day life. all you know about music is to press play and criticize and point the finger.

yeah we saw it alright..
The sad thing is she became a laughing stock after this performance (and it was the performance where people took real note of her lip syncing).
but it didn't last that long... she recovered really quick
