    I've heard so many versions of this movement, and without a doubt this was the best one I've ever heard. The atmospheric approach always works best for this one. This is the first time this piece actually brought a tear to my eye. Every single layer is so meticulously layed down. The force with which each wave hits is absolutely terrifying.

    Awesome! :-) My university's orchestra performed this (back in the late 70's) and I was thrilled to be a part of it as timpanist, although I wished I could have played all the percussion parts! ;-)
