Beautiful collaboration with non-human organisms ✨ As an eco/bioartist myself, I know the importance of an inspiring, plant-filled space for inspiration, and it is always exciting to see other artist's inspirations.
I also have a little studio/workspace at home and am trying to get more plants in there! I'm a fashion designer and handknitter so I need lots of space and I also need to keep things clean! I would also like frame and hang all the prints I've gotten from art fairs these past few years. I love how Nate uses the industrial metal and concrete with aged wood. Looks great with all his plants! I need to go antiquing!
Ooh my! Thank you again Sean for sharing yet again, another amazing content. What an incredible artist and a beautiful person that he is. Incredible paintings and the bananas are so alive and vibrant reminded me of my childhood back in a small village of the Philippines.
Thank you for new video, sean can you visit caladium nursery in thailand, i really want to see it... Caladium is always underrated plant except in thailand so it's hard to found someone filming about caladium😢😢😢 Thank you for your help
Love this place. Thanks for the video. I recently went to Phuket and a friend’s friend is a dentist. We went to his clinic which is an estate and the outdoor area is an absolute jungle! I spotted beautiful philodendrons that indoor people usually train up moss poles but in this case is growing up trees. Too bad I didn’t stay much longer to really check out his garden.
You said” not a lot of cool plants here” speak for yourself!😆 I find it so cool. I love the way he effortlessly plant and place his plants. He seems to just let them do their thing without fussing over them. Mr . Sean , if possible could you dig into the soils and tell us what’s being used - the way you explain the peanuts on top of the soil. 😅😊 thanks *** I don’t live in the tropics, so I need all the help I can find or get.***
Haha I have a good potting mix that I use thats why I rarely need to find out what others are using. Type in “onlyplants potting mix” in the search bar, we have a few episodes detailing the ingredients and their pros and cons
I wanted to get into water coloring and it was not easy. I unfortunately gave up lol I should try again….maybe My ficus triangularis likes to drop all its leaves every winter and then grow them all back again in the warmer months. It’s currently dropping its leaves now. They are so finicky.
Sean I wonder if the first painting with the pink flower you showed is of a Medinila? This was a great video. We will be sure to visit when we travel to Chiang Mai in 2025.
Its not lime, its some sort of mandarin/loquat mix 😁 here for us its an auspicious plant and stands for wealth when you keep it in a pot around the house krub 😊👍

Oh yes artists see the world in different ways. And they have so much patience

Thai people have so much love for plants and garden
I do that with peanut shells too, I thought it's a waste it is such a good mixture to the potting media.
Interesting… I wonder if they can be crushed and used as amendments
lol, i use pistachios shell

Yes they are quite unforgiving… they drop leaves even when you look at them the wrong way.

Ahhh interesting… it resembles plum more than citrus?
It will look like a tiny mandarin, somewhat more perfectly round than oval 😁
What’s his instagram handle and how to buy his paintings?
