Right she knew Emmett was in bed with Douda with the restaurants and when she allowed him to help them get the house. And was so adamant about having her name on it but wanna say she’s leaving. Plus she had the nerve to ask for a nanny and maid. She knew where the money was coming from. I really don’t like her this season.

This entire time Emmitt has been trying to convince himself that he wasn’t in “that deep” with Douda and Keshia & Darnell have been telling him since episode 1 of the season that HE IS.
These last couple of episodes has been really good. It's starting to give you the feel of the first two seasons and I'm here for it. Because the last two or three seasons was trash!!
Before his death, Pastor Jackson put a hit out on Dodua. I believe his death will bring the guys together to take Dodua out. Like Emmitt said, if Dodua kills him, the community will come for him; well, I think the community will do the same for Pastor. Dodua will die before the end of the season, and then a new gangsta will emerge. It really made me happy to see the men (Shad, Victor, Pastor Jackson, and Lanea's brother) show Bakari love. Last season, he really didn't have anyone, but now the support of the men is helping him evolve.
00:42:32 How did Papa's mama not hear the commotion going on downstairs? You know how you can hear EVERYTHING in those old houses. My grandmother used to yell at us for walking too hard upstairs. So I'm wondering was Rob & his mom, Alicia around to know of or see any of this 🤔 I'm quite sure cold as a snowwoman's nipples Alicia knew...
Ashley I was almost in tears from the beginning of the episode! Emmet is hard headed, and stubborn! I knew that Passa Stanley had a target on him from Douda, but he didn't even get to say amen after praying for Papa! 😢😢😢
Also I understand why papa is upset his dad is extremely controlling and throughout all the seasons of the show he’s never really allowed to form his own identity outside of his pastor dad and form his own personal opinions of people and he’s tired of it and tired of being a carbon copy of his dad so he has every right to be upset with him.
Season 5 was one long music video with some dialogue thrown in. Season 6 is back to The Chi that I fell in love with…I’m really enjoying these episodes.
My thing is if Kevin came in in said he got a full ride to UCLA Nina would’ve been way more receptive to him moving. Like the boy is literally providing a life for himself RIGHT NOW with gaming and he hasn’t even been doing it professionally all that long.
I get what you’re saying but she wasn’t crazy about that either. Her reaction to the news didn’t surprise me especially with all that they’ve been through. She be wanting them kids close but they’re grown/growing up. Hell, she was pissed when keisha was moving to the west side lol

Ooooh Ashley! Thank uuuuuuuu for bringing up Darnell's other Pikney/Children! I've been watching this from the beginning just like u & in the beginning he was an old school baby daddy w/elementary & toddler age babies outside of Emmett (at least another additional 4) that slightly turned a new leaf AFTER he was damn near grown. I'm all for him & Emmett's relationship making amends but u can't just introduce all these babies/multiple babies mothers without explaining it away .... Did he end up finding out that they weren't all his? What?! 🤔 So when I see him I still side eye 😒 him because u can't see about one child and not the other. Like, why haven't they incorporated his original storyline/visitation w/the other children at him & Jada's house? It would've added a bit of excitement to their storyline besides Jada searching for 🍆 for Tracy, them hosting dinner parties & Darnell being worried about Emmett while Jada is tryna figure out what it is that absolutely no one is even telling her......

First off, Douda is on my last nerve ad I can't til SOMEBODY handle his ass! And Vic man, I feel so bad because he's been trying to do the right thing and is now involved in something he can't get out of. Like, what's gonna happen to him? Rob, I am so scared for him because Alicia wants him to "get the job done" and I feel like he's might get killed try'na do this. If she does this all the time then why ask him knowing he's not a killer?! And yes I also wanna know the backstory too cuz they act more like associates than mother and son. And who's his father? And Nina's SO ANNOYING! I get that him moving to California is a drastic change but that's where the opportunity is so let him take it and live his life! And Bakari getting pulled over wasn't Lynae's fault! Why was she on punishment? She didn't know! But Bakari is just going through it! He never wanted to do this! And his sister, I couldn't care less about honestly! And pastor, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Even though we don't see him that much it was still so sad and I just wanted to cry. I also like the song that was playing(I actually felt like I was watching Greenleaf for a second) too.

I like Jada we haven’t got much of her this season.
@@sheena171 me too…they barely show her or Tracey

Ashley I feel hurt too about About Papas Dad😢😢
Dre is playing with 🔥
I think Bakari sister is a outside killer for Douda
Why y’all keep saying that. They have no connections
How you know?
Kev and Kiesha's dad died in the early seasons of the show; I'm thinking seasons 1 or 2.
We are supposed to get 16 episodes but I don’t think they were able to finish filming because of the writers strike.
18 episodes, and they already finished them
I don't think Kevin will be going to LA anytime soon .. especially since papa's father just passed , he will need his friends to rally around him for support.
First off, Douda is on my last nerve ad I can't til SOMEBODY handle his ass! Emmett baby, you are just in WAY TOO DEEP and you need to come up with something better than "I'ma pay you out and be done"!
I almost cried. Y’all didn’t have to do that to the pastor! Also Tell Vic Mensa to holla at ME. Every time he’s on screen, I can’t hear what he’s saying.
were getting 16 episodes--- break comes after episode 8
I cried the whole episode
Im talkin bout they going to the CENTER of the pits of hell 🤣💀 cuz dang man you gone kill somebody while they are praying and infront of their bible!?! Got damn they shouldn't be able to sleep at night for a long time
We gone have 16 episodes this season. So 2 more episodes then we gone go into a break. I will say this episode was something else. So intense and emotional
And while I'm on the subject of Darnell's other babies; where in the hell are Emmett's other two children, DeVonte (son w/ Shay) & Cassius (son w/ Neva)? I actually thought we were going to see both other boys and their mothers at him & Keisha's housewarming.
Terrible writing. They never write in none of those kids and it’s weird esp with Emmett elevating like he has.
I was shocked at that last scenen I couldnt believe it
Me too Ashley I knew Pappas Dad was gonna die😢😢😢😢
Cari sister gonna shot Douda over her brother
