Great video, our 2017 Rouge got a small hit on the back drivers side. I got a few estimates ranging from $800-$1000 from body shops. After watching your video, I went out and pulled the driver side corner of the bumper off, figured out What was damaged and ordered the white clip part behind it and fixed it myself for under $100. Your video was spot on and VERY helpful! Thank You!
Thank you! Someone hit my bumper and shattered one of the reflectors. The replacement part was easy enough to find, but without this video I would’ve had no idea how to install it. I followed your instructions and had the job done in an hour.
You seem to be a real guru and a very careful on what you're doing. I wish you'd let me if are somewhere close to me and, maybe you will be willing to fix my bumper which is on the exact bad-shape as the one seen on your video. Great job, Mr. Expert!
Thanks for the video. I have to replace that chrome trim at the bottom on mine. I'm going to try to attempt it without removing the bumper. Looks like I may be able to squeeze my arms underneath through the back of the bumper.
Great Video! Just fixed mine, although the 2021 version has an extra screw that caused me a bit of a trouble, could manage anyway for what I needed. Thanks a lot!
So I just took my bumper off all the screws and all but there is wiring that’s connected from the car to the underside of the bumper … you didn’t give info on that … ? Does anyone know about the wiring ?
@@mcycleshawnit’s prob back up sensors ! luckily that electrical panel was held down by two plastic clips and 3 metal clips that easily removed by hand and fork tool . I just unclipped and transferred to the replacement bumper . It was easy phew . For anyone wondering it’s a removal electrical panel .
Make sure you have the bolts removed (1 on either side) in by the hatch area. Then if the sides are free and all fasteners are out from underneath you should be able to pull straight back without it breaking….let me know if you still have a problem
I like to let them be whenever I can. If you must remove them, they are typically held into the bumper on the back side by some clips. Sometimes you can also unhook the whole strand from the wiring harness and remove the bumper cover
I’m not sure you could get in behind. Maybe possible by pulling one side off and letting it hang but you must be careful not to damage the cover in the process.
Life saver - just backed into the wife's car. your vid helped me to press the dimple out b4 I got in too much trouble. Thanx!
Good news! That’s why I’m here😅

Feel free to subscribe to help me out. Even if you don’t hit the bell😉
That electronic box in the corner at the end of the video is the Blind Spot Detection System Warning Sensor SRR3-B

Happy you have an idea of what to look for!
Very informative. Thanks brother!
I recently purchased a salvage Nissan Rogue SL 2018, without the bumper.but where I can find the foot sensor /cable liftgate?
I work on these for dealers. I would look on eBay or at salvage yard. Hope you can find a good one. Hate to pay dealer prices
Great good information I do it this weekend i need replace that little trim 😀 👍
Just curious is this "vent"/"grill" in the middle of the bumper is just decoration?
Yes. It doesn’t do anything noticeable. Maybe cooling for the sensors🤷🏻♂️ sometimes there is a sensor in the center to open the hatch.
ThNk you for the knowledge, appreciate it.
Can u do a video for the parking sensors
What do you need to do with them? I don’t have this vehicle any longer

@@somecrazycat92 wiring is probably all your sensors for collision monitoring system
Or back up sensors depending on model and options

Do you have an install video? It would be super helpful!
I do not at this time but I could walk you through it. Basically a reverse of removal.

Great thanks a lot for UL!! 😎👍🍻
Thanks for the advice
Hey Bro, do you have the part number for the bumper reflectors screws? Thank you
I’ll see if I can look it up but I’m the meantime just call a Nissan parts department. They can get you that info. Cheers!
Appreciate it
What kind of screwdriver is that?
Looks like I used craftsman flat head. Also a small ratcheting screw driver that uses different type bits like a drill.
I have the same exact problem on my bumper on the same side
thank you for your help
Pup it, pup it and pup it. 😂
There is no horn under the rear bumper.
Corrrect
Plastic. Everything is plastic.
any way to replace the rear chrome trim without removing the bumper?
