  • dont throw your your old dried poster paints..
    there poster colours are about 10 years old but I still restored them..
    procedure :
    1. Add desired amount of water into them..
    2. let them sit for 1 day covered.
    3. after 1 day stir them with the paint brush and they are ready to go..
    NOTE: I restored my colours within 2 hours.. i helped the water to get absorbed fast into the colours.. i poked them and broke colour pieces with a sharp object..
    // THANKS FOR WATCHING //

    Hi!! This was exactly what i did with my dried poster colors. Adding water to them makes them useable again. That is why i am not afraid of buying bigger amounts of poster colors because of this technique. Let the water sit for 1 to 2 days. Promise,it will become creamy again. Make sure to mix well with toothpick. 😀

    One more tip..if you have to store the paint and no longer using them..then take some Fevicol and apply on inside of bottle caps and then put it on bottle. It will be hard to open after Fevicol has dried but the paint will be good as new because NO AIR will come in contact with the paint .

    It's important to use distilled water when reconstituting the paints, as tap water contains minerals and impurities which can spoil the paint over time.

      Add boiled water .. or you can sterilize you paint .first remove fungus or add one drop of liquid soap and put it in refrigerator because many fungus can't live in low temperatures then you can take it out after overnight .. and make sure to wash your paint brushes with soap.
