  • In this Lure Making video I’ll be making a Glowing Fishing lure using my custom lipless Crankbait mold. I actually caught some fish finally haha. Check out the mystery fish at the end of the video it was huge. The video really doesn't do justice to how big this fish was. I think it was either an Asian or beg head carp but I'm not sure so I'd love your opinion. Maybe the glow stick had something to do with it. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Anyway thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy.

    That is just awesome!!! I love this idea... I might have to give it a try with a 3D printed lure using some clear filament. Keep up the great work.

    Good idea well implemented. It's an old saying: you always catch the biggest fish when you don't have a net. :-)

      Not a bad idea. I think it would work much better in the sea. Unfortunately I don’t live close to an ocean 😞

    That's a hard call on that fish in the end... Looks like a fairly pointed dorsal fin and really wide head. Regardless... still gets your blood pumping! Nice job!

      Absolutely. I’ve never fought a fish that big on bass setup. Felt like I was hoisting in a log.

    Hi I’m from the uk and iv just caught a 25pound mirror carp on a smaller koi lure in our local canal so its pretty possible for it to have been a carp 🤷🏼‍♂️

      That’s pretty awesome. I guess it’s possible just kinda rare.

    • @TreysArt
      @TreysArt  Год назад +1

      It was. I’m in east arkansas. Not saying it isn’t possible but I’ve never seen or herd of one around here besides maybe in the Mississippi River.

      @@TreysArt the sweeping large pectoral fins and elongated tail are what do it for me along with the shape, i played it back through at .25 speed and it definitely looks the shape of a bull. Really active at night too. i'm willing to bet you have a few in there.

    If that was a flathead catfish they are more predatory catfish and they prefer their food alive. So going after a lure is not far off from normal.

    • @TreysArt
      @TreysArt  2 года назад

      That’s true but I’m quite sure i snagged a carp.
