  • Dominic Petruzzi came down to the shop to teach a fly tying tutorial for musky. This pattern is one he came up with that works very well for musky in the Spring. All Materials can be bought at www.Nativesflyfishing.com. This pattern can be ordered through Streamer King Flies.

    Awesome tying video- really one of the best I've seen. "tactically squared away" comes to mind- this shit is down PAT.

    Hi Dom!, I would like to know why you covering the body tubing head with solariz like this? thank s .

    • @dirkvannieuwenhove
      @dirkvannieuwenhove 2 года назад

      I’ve been taught the same method because body tubing tends to fray after a few fish caught. The UV resin makes it near indestructable and adds some weight to the head as well. My T-bones hold up well this way

    Great, cool fly, but don't you miss lots of bites, with only one "small" hook in the front?

      Most strikes happen when the fly pauses and kicks sideways in the water, hence the T Bone name, so the fish actually takes the meat of the fly including the hook most of the time.

    What size tubing are you using?

    • @primeflycompany

      my guess is 1/2"- I use mostly 1/4" for spreaders and this is much bigger.

    Are those the new large jaws

      Using the new shank jaws at the beginning, then I switch to the large or saltwater jaws to finish.
