Thanks for this. I’m on day 29 no smoke no drink after 20 years on/off. Noticing random energy spikes and my skin is noticeably different already. I ran up two flights of stairs hard today and didn’t even notice till I got to the top. I’m 50. Not out of the woods yet, but peace and support to you and all on the path toward something better.

that's awesome! i was noticing energy spikes as well but no crashes tho. i guess since i wasn't doing added sugar as well, that might have helped as well. I also feel more alert and I find it a tiny bit easier to carry on a conversation too. just little random things like that i'm starting to notice. That is awesome!!! keep me posted on your journey!

everyone's journey is different but for me, the longer I went the easier it got. the most challenging moments for me was when I would go out to bars. tiny bit harder but restaurant outings and hanging out at a friend's house are easier.

I don’t how you came across my you tube channel but I just hit my 30-day no alcohol challenge today and it was hard but I smashed it. I’m so proud of myself and like you mentioned craving the sugar OMG I was wondering why I would just sit back and think like I want some ice cream with some cookies, I never had those kind of cravings before now I see 😂 but the energy the clear mind being productive yessss im loving it no hangovers im so proud of myself…. Im going into my 2nd month as of today and im ready. I haven’t quit drinking for good either I told myself drink on occasions and don’t over do it. Thank you for your story time it made me get more motivated to go further with this….. ❤❤❤❤ Peace and Love King 👑

Congrats on your 30 days friend!! I bet you’re feeling amazing! Yes, Thalia’s sugar cravings are no joke. I’ve even attempted to go with no added sugar during this for at least 14 days and could barely do it it’s tough. Yeah I was craving ice cream and milk shakes those first two months.

As the boss of the alcohol drinkers association of Papua New Guinea I am appalled. Please start drinking again and when you come to these parts for a holiday we will have a bender like no other but manuka honey the next day will help ya.

I am watching so many videos of different people on topics like this, I have drank 8-15 beers a day for the last 20 years, now I am at a point where I just quit my shit job and I am broke and going to finish off the last few 30 packs of beer I have until I can't buy anymore and I am forced and will be forcing myself to stop. I quit everything else, smoking, gambling, weed, soda, hookers, done with it, no withdrawal, one last non stop weekend for me going hard and then I am done. I really want to stop drinking so I can finally get some treatment for my arthritis and mental health issues that I have left untreated since I was a teenager. My drinking is a problem but all the times I have done really dumb shit or been hospitalized was not due to my drinking but everything else. So this self-medication addiction with alcohol needs to stop so I can finally get rid of it and then the other problems which are just as big if not way bigger than what I think is the main issue. Have no idea how I can do it with no money or health insurance or anything but it's worth a shot, no pun intended, I have never been moderate in drinking or anything else in any way, I need help, I hate this version of myself which is the only thing I have ever known, I just want to feel real or conscious for a day at least before I die.

@@jarnard Thank you. I am gonna try. I am sick of being sick, and today was a terrible day for me and I realized how sad and pathetic and bad I really am, but that also makes it a good day because I am at rock bottom and I am probably underneath that looking up. What better time than now to finally do something? All these addictions and inner voices pushing me and making all the decisions, I finally want to speak up for my actual self. I will keep in touch and thanks for cheering me on, I will be seeking support from anywhere I can.
