Kanaria is one of the most prominent Vocaloid producers. He's done SO MANY of the songs the Hololive girls have covered this last two years and a half... His video thumbnails and art all have a very consistent and recognizable style.
In my opinion Hololives greatest strength is its community and the fact so many talented creators are among the fans I'm mostly versed in Hololive so I dont know if its the same for other companies but like Toby Fox worked on Doggy God Street imagine someday a Uematsu x Hololive collab I think Korone got the actual composer of ActRaiser to make her a bgm
Pretty much every Vtuber has covered a Kanaria song at some point, it's like a right of passage. He could have picked any vtuber he wanted and he chose Suisei, says a lot.
Kanaria is a vocaloid producer who makes shorter catchy songs that get covered a ton like King. The 2 latest uploaded songs feature their own voice, otherwise it's mostly vocaloid Gumi's voice. The iconic artstyle comes from artist LAM who is vtuber artist too. This song is catchy and great, hearing Suisei on Kanaria song is such a treat!
LAM is also the Character Designer behind everyone's favorite #1 Cute Zombie Idol, Kureiji Ollie! The more you tumble down this rabbit hole, the more you realize just how connected it all is.
This was a banger, their voices are just awe-inspiring together! It's the first time I heard Kanaria sing on one of their songs as they usually make vocaloid songs. And no fear, you will get more Kanaria, because they composed KING, QUEEN, Mira, Identity (which you have heard in at least two of the concerts we watched) and many more, all of the mentioned and a lot more having covers by HoloPro members. For this reason I want to recommend Axel Syrios' from Holostars English and his cover of QUEEN, as it's one of my favorites.
Kanaria has some incredible songs out there (KING, QUEEN, EYE, Identity, Envy Baby, the list goes on). It's amazing to me that Kanaria got their start in producing vocaloid music at the age of 17, and that was only just 3 years ago! There have been a TON of Hololive and other Vtuber covers of Kanaria songs out there, and every one of them are great (KING seems to be the most popular song for Vtubers to cover at the moment). Putting Kanaria and Suisei together was a combination I never realize I needed until now, and they are SO good together! Highly recommend checking out some of the great Kanaria covers out there. Calli does an English-translated version (translated herself) of Envy Baby that's great, Towa, Polka, Suisei, and several others have covered KING, Towa has covered QUEEN, Lui and Okayu covered Identity, Lui covered EYE, the list goes on and on and on, lol. Also, I know I poked you on Twitter about this but you have got to check out Korone's new original song, Wonky Monkey. I think it'd be right up your alley and is just so good!

I totally agree with your opinion regarding the length of this song. 2 minutes+ is not enough for a song this amazing. But that is the thing with kanaria song, all of them are usually only about 2 minutes+ but damn every song are really catchy and amazing.

I know you ask for recommendations sometimes. Moona Hoshinova had a new original song out. “Who’s Toxic? it’s You!” And it is a banger and switch up form previous stuff you’ve seen from her. Took me right back to highschool after a breakup in the best way possible.
This song is an absolute banger! Can never go wrong with having Suisei vocals on a song Heres some things to note tho! as I've seen other people have pointed some of them out too, Kanaria also did "King" and multiple other very well known vocaloid songs like "Identity" which has also been in some of the hololive concerts Luke has been watching. Just to name 2 of them atleast, but pretty much every Kanaria song is well known vocaloid songs, and they usually get covered by Hololive (and outside hololive too ofc). The songs tend to be pretty short, around 2 minutes usually, but itll usually add up to hours if you wanna hear every cover anyway. The first time we've really heard Kanarias vocals would be in Chainsaw Man Ending 6 (Kanaria - Rendezvous. which also has a original MV, might be interesting for those that havent seen that) Also might be worth checking out for Luke too. I still find it very incredible to think about the fact that Kanaria were only 17 when they started debuting their vocaloid songs (20 today) Also this song was first teased around 3 weeks ago in a animation collab together with graduates from a school called HAL (or i think they were graduates if i read correct.. translations from jp can be abit hard) Regardless it was teased in an animation which was very interesting, so its great to see a full release of the song On a last note in regards to songs by Kanaria, I'd personally recommend the cover of Kanarias song called "Eye" By Takane Lui, which Lui did on her Debut when she joined hololive
Kanaria feels like a feminine name, but people say he's a guy... then I hear his voice and now I'm confused. His singing sounds like a low-pitched female voice and a high-pitched male voice at the same time. Man that's cool.
Yeah he sounds so feminine in low pitch and his singing style sounds so feminine also Don't believe those people who said they didn't get confused on his voice(most of them know it because they knew he was a man at the first place,and the people who didn't knew kanaria was man will get confused because of his voice and singing style just listen to his previous songs they're all high pitched.) i didn't know kanaria is a man too so yeah when i see the other comment in his previous mv i got confused like wut the hell, i came from Philippines so i always hear this style of singing from low pitch female singers so yeah it's confusing.
I think the best way to enjoy Kanaria is watching her original song and then some of hololive covers. King has been covered by a loooooot of members. But I'd recommend starting with a short one like Queen that has less covers but has one by Axel Syrios that is awesome. The cat and dog just fit together perfectly, musically and otherwise.
