I’m not sure why You Tube placed this page for me to view, but I am so glad they did!as a Texan, a descendent of the UK, this couple represents all of the qualities I love when I read about the strength and gumption of those who lived in history centuries past but in the context of the present. They have truly legitimized Sealand as a sovereign nation, with military protection, a Royal family, and diplomacy, all in a couple of generations. They are proud to be British and honor both countries. It is like looking through the lens of centuries past, it has all of the elements of history but in the present. Best wishes to Sealand and the Sealanders! Netflix needs to tell your story .

Considering this is Britain, I’m confused why they’re using feet and miles. Nevertheless, a very interesting documentary.

이클계필드:여기가 영국이라는 점을 고려하면 왜 피트와 마일을 사용하는지 혼란스럽습니다 그럼애도 불구하고 매우 흥미로운 다큐맨터리입니다
my name is Jung Jae-woong(내 이름 정재웅):Please do not get confused because it is the principality of Sealand as a micro-miniature national bond, so feet and miles are used(초소형 국민채로 시랜드 공국이라 피트와 마일을 사용하니까 혼란스러워 하지마시길)

      From the looks of it:
at night during new moon in the winter (with the proper equipment, a small task force, provisions, a new flag and so on - bring a lot of bin bags)

After Falklands/Malvinas War (May-June 1982), British suddenly were worried about all those else godforsaken islands/possessions. Ironically the didn't send the whole Royal Navy this time.

Harsh Russell. But you say built by US? Those German aircraft “downed”, albeit few, were very important steps to overcome the enemy. An enemy that almost took down England. So depending how you view the outcome, it could have had a different ending if each defense had not played her part in victory.

Information provided by this video is WRONG. The USA built 4 towers and only 2 remained after WWII. They downed 30 German aircraft, less then 8 V1 rockets, less then 5 V2 rockets and 1 E-class submarine. This was not worth over 300 million dollars, especially since the British were doing a great job in the air. Yes, they helped out, but immobility, price and the political climate doomed these 'sea-towers' from the start. I know this short documentary is from the 80's, but bad information is bad information, no matter how old the information is. Plenty of false information flowing freely nowadays and most people do not bother to fact check what they hear, but instead insist that if it is on the internet and from a 'trusted' source, it must be true. Use the brain evolution (or god) provided you and question EVERYTHING. If you do not, you might as well strap a bell around your neck.
