Hello Alexander, my name is Marko (check 00:13 of the review). Thank you for the support and I am not happy with the responsibility you have given me sir! I am SUPER BIASED since the VC American 1921 has been one of my grails since forever so I have to go with that one just because of personal love for the model and a more "emotional" connection to it although the Lange 1 has a nicer movement and more interesting/diverse dial layout and information. At the end I advise you to go check both out in person and try them on yourself. You cannot make a mistake with either. Personally I love the NYC boutique edition of the 1921 and the platinum version as well. Again, choose wisely and keep me updated :)

And if i had my choice, I'd pick a Datograph over Lange 1. So you are correct with your advice. What a surprise you have it as well! I seem to like the rose gold version more than platinum (by looks). I thought about Lange because i love the brand and i want to own a German watch in my collection (not a nomos please!). The purchase is a couple of years removed. I'll buy it for the anniversary. Regular years I buy regular watches. AGAIN, thank you for a prompt reply!
@@almeladze You are correct with the Balkans comment :). I don´t own a VC yet, I used to own a ref. 85180 in yellow gold but did not wear it much. If u ask me for a classy watch and I see that you are a fan of the Datograph as well I would advise you to go try on the 1815 chronograph. You get the same movement without the date but a slimmer profile and lighter case design. That is one of my favorite watches and future purchase, a vintage 1815 chrono. :) Good luck and happy hunting!

So I know a lot about the culture and people! 1815 may be the way to go for us, regular mortals but I have a sense that it may be harder to get at a good discount than a VC. Let's see.
