Ballista Demonstration At Fort Mott State Park

In September of 2019 I went to Fort Mott State Park. They had a lot of cool old weapons on display. Including a ballista. We even got to see a demonstration of it launching a bolt.

When I posted a photo of this on Facebook I had one of my friends say, "UHM, ACKTSHULLY! THIS IS NOT A BALLISTA! THIS IS A SCORPION. IT WAS DESIGNED TO SHOOT BOLTS AT INFANTRY-" I do not care. It's a ballista. That's what I'm calling it.
