I own 2 A70 Supra's, both MA70's, one is a '87 and the other one is '89. Seeing one getting driving like this gives me goosebumps. It's considered a classic nowadays so I don't really want to abuse it. Glad to see that video's like these are still up on the net
@@ElPJSaapeee fair point, but I think some just find it easier to remember "third generation" than "A70". its the reason I cant differentiate BMW's, theyre all 525's or 325's or whatever. The only reason I know what a 325I is is because my friend owns one :D
Is funny but turns out I now 3 years after I made the last reply have a black Supra with the 1g-GTE engine on the way from Japan to be used as my new daily. How has you 1G held up since it's been 6 years since your comment?

Honestly I didn't even know they used to come with a 1G engine at all. All I knew where the 2.5 1JZ-GTE, 3.0 7M-GE and 7M-GTE (like my own) with the Turbo-A version on top.
1G engines were JDM only - also came with a narrower body on them to get round tax laws in Japan.. They were OK in a manual, but slow to spool up and not enough bottom end for the weight. Had a targe one for a while when in New Zealand. Now have an MA70 manual in the UK - non tubo but as a daily much better than the 1G-GTE.
I love those rims, they would look great on my 1989 Supra. If he is trying to say that the Supra is a vary heavy car he's right, compared to a 300ZX Nissan it's a tank, but a beautiful tank. That girl needs to stop bowing to that zipperhead. I like those Japanese door mounted side view mirrors, they are different from the American cars, plus I'm fixing to put a twin turbo 1JZ into my machine, I can't wait. Oh this car has been lowered, you can tell when the car is sitting static, stock you'll have more tire wheel well clearance. Great video

The Japanese got the 7m too along with the 1jz the 1j cars were the twin turbo R cars and the 7m cars were the same as ours just no egr
