I have an edge control that does not contain alcohol it is called "24 hour edge tamer" by Ebin NewYork it really does last but eventually like after about 8 hours it will start to lift up but it will still be swooped and look nice I got it at a beauty place called TIGI hair supply I think
Yassss! I just got "put on" to that edge control and I can say this is the only thing that lays my edges D O W N!!! (And I have tried almost every brand of edge control lol) but fr I have for 4C hair and when I put that on, and tie my hair up at night, my edges are layed for at least a week. My hair lays straighter with that edge control & being natural than my hair was when I use to get relaxers! And I use to get relaxers every month lol Crazy Right!?

One edge controller that I use now is called Edge Booster. This edge control works for me and my mom and NOTGING ELSE holds my mom's hair, so I think you should try it.

I feel as if EdgeBooster and Ebin New York 24 hour edge control, both really hold down my hair. I have relaxed hair, and I’ve used both, but I have a friend with 4b/4c hair and it lays her edges perfectly. And the EdgeBooster smells sooo good and has many scents.
Ebin 24 hour, purple top is the STUFF. I also tried the LovelyB's edge control, it gives no flakes and will have them laid just like ebin. The main ingredients are shea butter, castor oil and honey.
Yesssss I use Aussie moist and I have litterally used that every wash day. Any other conditioner gets used whenever I want too bf AUSSIE gets used EVERY wash day😂
For the fine hairs at the edges I useThe Mane Choice Growth Stimulating Edge Control. Murrays Edgewax Extreme Hold for sleek updos (the one with no water in the formulation.) I do not use any gels anymore. . . They ALL are too harsh for me! I just use leave-ins, butters and JBCO or a DIY oil blend. By the way, I used that Aussie Moist 3-Min DC, and I AM FEELIN’ YA ON THIS ONE!! I thought for a minute I was washing out a relaxer!

Yesssss I use Aussie moist and I have litterally used that every wash day. Any other conditioner gets used whenever I want too bf AUSSIE gets used EVERY wash day😂
For the fine hairs at the edges I useThe Mane Choice Growth Stimulating Edge Control. Murrays Edgewax Extreme Hold for sleek updos (the one with no water in the formulation.) I do not use any gels anymore. . . They ALL are too harsh for me! I just use leave-ins, butters and JBCO or a DIY oil blend. By the way, I used that Aussie Moist 3-Min DC, and I AM FEELIN’ YA ON THIS ONE!! I thought for a minute I was washing out a relaxer!
Argon Oil Creme of Nature "Perfect Edges" is greattttt. & since it has the Argon oil in it, it not only lays your edges.. it also give you a boost of shine. Bonus: it is a overall natural product ☺
you should definitely try the design essentials honey and shea edge control. that edge control is bomb it will definitely keep your edges laid all day. that is the best edge control i have ever used.

I use all of these products lol. I love brown gel as an edge control. It doesn’t dry my hair out as long as it’s been moisturized before I use it. I think my hair is similar to yours, try it!
