Drumming has a positive effect on anxiety, grief, fatigue, depression and behavioral issues. While drumming children strengthen their ability to focus and work on impulse control and decision making skills. Keith was the perfect coach for Laurs! He knows exactly what she's going through and how he had to transition to singing without his instrument. I thought he was so smart when he let her go through a middle ground transition by letting her play air drums. Brilliant directions! She started to feel the confidence, and that was the goal.

They were talking about how she was not comfortable singing with a mic and without the drums and in the next act she rocks the stage like a star, doing sexy poses looking more confident than I will ever be.
I really pray that Lozz doesn't let that judges opinion take any hope away from her. She's one of the best things I've heard on that show and she can still go far! He's one opinion in a world of 7 billion people. Keep going Lozz x
My brother plays drums since he was 5, he's 60 now. Still playing and in a band,country fire,he recently tore his rotater cuff and had surgery. Still in pain he still plays. I know it takes a lot to play drums.

My brother is a drummer for a local band, he's been a drummer since he was 5 years old, he's 65 now and after rotater cuff surgery he still plays. He has a wonderful singing voice, can spin the 🥁 sticks, I play piano 🎹 and guitar 🎸, my sister plays bass and my twin plays violn. Also my brother plays harmonica while drummer. We had no choice as kids play a instrument or do house work. We all 4 decide to play instrument.

As an American I LOVE the Voice Australia. The contestants and th ecoaches support each other in a way that the AMericans do not.
That is true. However I have seen the same thing on the Spanish American version of the La Voz where the coaches also support each other. I guess it's a cultural thing.

Love Lozz! The Voice, the drums, that gorgeous red hair - I always wanted that hair! My dark brown hair got very dark auburn if I worked all summer in the sun, & when I lived in the tropics. I love her hair cclor.
Drums are what i enjoy when i hear a band everytime.
I don't think you people realize how difficult it is to sing and play the drums at the same time! Your brain is doing two different things at the same time. Not many people can do that because the song's melody is going one way and the beat is going somewhere different. One of the most famous lead singers who was also a drummer was Phil Collins. She should get "kudos" for just being able to do what she does! I am in awe of people who can do this because I know I never could. What she and those like her can do is a very rare talent and we all should respect them!
She has a very beautiful voice. I feel Keith screwed up not picking her. I would buy her songs.

@@vickiechandler3112 I know quite well how the show works. However, I'm no longer much of a fan anymore because winners don't get much support and don't get the stardom level that they expected from winning.

I'm in the U.S. and I can't think of a Voice winner who became a superstar like Idol winners Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood, Even non-winners like Adam Lambert. Clay Aiken, Jennifer Hudson and Kellie Pickler have had very successful careers.

I played drums for years, because I enjoyed playing and because I felt empowered and less vulnerable. I can relate to this drummer’s stated preference to stay in the background. Bravo to her for having the courage to come out of the shadows. Excellent performance.

There is SO much more than just the voice in a successful musician. I agree with many that Lozz deserved to go through to the next round. The last performance was very good, AND she was just getting her confidence up. I'm sure the next rounds would have brought out greater levels of her talent. I'm sure Lozz, that you are doing well and playing. All the best!
OMG! I thought I was watching the winner of the Voice. Wow! what a poor decision to let her go. She has everything going for her to make her a rock star. I was just thinking about Sheila E and how long her career has been. Great name too and easy to remember. I think we are going to hear a lot more of Lozz. Sorry Keith you screwed up badly.

My father started the drums at age 4. He never read music 🎶 🎵 But could play any song at any time. Big Band Era, Jazz, Country, Pop, and Rock. Miss him everyday 😢 But feel fortunate for the love of music he shared with his family. God Bless 🙌 🙏 ❤️

LOZZ you're a huge winner to me! My jaw dropped wow!!! And why is she not a huge thing here in the U.S.? What an extremely poor decision to let her go. I feel it may be like American Idol the runner up always gets Huge and becomes a star. So maybe she was let go because she just so good.

is this Drummer working with the House Band for one of the Carnival Cruise Lines ships. It looks just like her. The ship drummer was amazing. She is all I watched during the show.
I love Lozz, she is incredible. I have always loved the drums and she brings it. Love her as both a singer and a drummer. She doesn't fit the pop model that this show is about. That's why she is so great. I think Keith made a mistake.
