Great track even with the minimalistic guitar work. Makes it different.

This song is the perfect example of how Def Lep and Mutt so adeptly inserted the guitars sparsely with lots of space. Might be a bit frustrating for guitar players to play it (I don't know) but they made for some awesome tunes! Stellar job as always brother!!
I love to see anyone younger doing covers,but these Def Leppard covers are beastly and bad to the bone! gr8 job!

lepfreak74 I may get to that after I've covered the main discography. There's some solo stuff they did in other live versions that ended up in the main solos to the song Go from the Sparkle Lounge that I have covered. I can't remember how much of it is similar to the Don Valley show. Maybe only the one part I can think of.

Cheers. Just using a Boss Me50. Used to have a Rockman unit which was cool for rhythm but lacks in the lead department.

What type of amp are you using and what settings do you use to get that awesome Def Leppard sound?
I use a Boss Me50 into a Palmer PDI 09. I made a stream last summer about getting a Lep tone that might interest you.

How did you get the timing/rhythm for the main riff? I know the notes but I tend to do pull-offs and it doesnt sound right. I do notice some palm muting repeated in the middle of the riiff.

2:28 you play an Am chord, but on the record I can hear a major third in that chord. Sounds cool the way you play it, but I'm pretty sure it's a major chord on the album version.
Actually, now that I listen to it, I can't really hear a third in that chord. It may just be a power chord, and the overtones (or the context - maybe both) made me hear it as a major chord.
I also listened to the live version and I don't hear them playing a third in that chord. It's just an A5 chord.
To me the chord (on the album version) still sounds like it functions as a major chord, and I do hear it as a major chord, even though the third may not be there.
+MaggaraMarine Yeah the first chord I should have played for the pre chorus was an E5 and then onto an A5. At the time of recording I was still playing it as I had learned it years earlier, probably from a dodgy online tab. :)
