- Marcus gives a quick overview of the first element of the FlowPoint Method Water Ski Pyramid: Athletic Stance
If a skier does not achieve (or simply cannot get into the position of) Athletic Stance, they are never going to reach their potential as a skier. It's just that simple.
It doesn't matter if you're a beginner, or a Pro, this is a fundamental that should always be re-visited throughout the season, to make sure you aren't drifting too far away from a good, Athletic Stance.

Thanks it was very helpful advice for me. Of course you are still my most favourite skier in the world.
Great video. I’ll be watching for more tips. I’ve been working hard on course skiing.
Awesome! Thanks for the comment...hope these and future vids we put out are helpful. Let us know what you wanna hear more of!
FlowPointMethod it would be cool to get tips on the pre gate pull out and setting up for the initial attack. Maybe some tips on weak side (front side) turns. 🤙🏼
Thanks Marcus - Great info and it works !!
What are your thoughts about lifting the rear heel in order to get weight forward? And even if the answer is to *ideally* have the heel stay flat, what if you don't have the ankle mobility/strength necessary to do that? To compensate, it seems like lifting the rear ankle still maintains a good stack and forward weight.
