Then my personal favorites Griggs and Sheckley, we got the radio AR3 radio operator XD, and a few others. Also, I looked up named rebels just now, there's a lot actually.
They have in-engine names. If you double-click any type of entity in Hammer, you can create a name for it. I personally think it's a fun little addition, and whenever I make maps with NPCs I try to give them names for the sake of it.
