Or is it just that working with Londo Bell actually helps you with your 'getting Yui out of the Eva' plan? Because THAT, I can believe it, but you doing the right thing for the sake of doing the right thing... yeah, that doesn't fly" Again, this is SRW, so it is actually plausible to redeem even assholes of the degree of Gendo... but I still can't trust the guy.
The final move involving the Spear of Longinus is so goddamned awesome compared to that from the SRW Z3. But man, I simply can't overlook that obvious flaw when EVA-13 is piercing the enemy with the second lance (especially when combined with the following scene showing it piercing the enemy at the back). Had the producers give in more effort in making more animation for the piercing motion instead of tilting the same posture, as well as improving the explosion animation, the awesome will simply go over the roof.
God Message? Symphony No.9? Komm Susser Todd? Tamashi no Refrain? This is some EVA medley going on. If Rei still have Beautiful World as her theme(like in other Angel battle), this'll come full circle.
Originally that should be one Longinus and one Cassius (the lance that dropped onto Eva 01 when it goes god mode by Kaworu in his Mark 6), but when they got to there, the Cassius was not found and two Longinus was found in its place. Shinji did not know pulling out two Longinus instead of one Cassius and one Longinus will cause another impact instead of reverting things as Kaworu suggested...
Welp. Looks like dimension disturbance is too strong here for another impact to occur properly. 3rd Impact did not happen because of badass Shinji but 4th Impact...that 2 Longinus Spear now used like any other weapons...
I think it's due to Eva 13's nature in this game - here, it seems like it was just another Eva that Gendo had built, rather than being the "last child of Adam" as it was in 3.0. This is an example of how the writers in more recent Super Robot Wars games have played around with the mechs' origin stories - another example is that the Strike Freedom's design was based on Vilkiss.
Allan Hui Timeline difference that doesn't follow the original movies (just like how the world hasn't ended after Eva 01 goes god mode). Since the world hasn't ended, Shinji is back to business after a day, 02 is repaired back to its original state instead, and the source of 13 is (probably) changed.
@@JanusHoW Rei Ayanami has Rouse, invest on her for a bit, and she'd give four pilots at least 130 will at the beginning of the fight. I ended up activating Mazinger Zero and Evol Unit 01 a lot faster (Shinji still needs to kill a couple of mooks for his synchro though). Unit 01 hits just as hard as Zero against enemy bosses, but Unit 13 has good Kaworu's skills. So it's really preference.

To this day, the 9th Symphony still reminds me of that one Dragon Ball Abridged special. Strangely fitting song for a no holds barred beatdown.

Depends on you. Eva 13 earns you extra seishin plus SP Recovery in Kaoru Nagisa but in terms of damage output, Eva 01 trumps Eva 13.
That's only for longer missions. Eva 01 needs to enter Psuedo-Evol mode, and he has to get to 170 morale and 90% Synch rate, which takes a long time.
