I love the fact that I can put as little or as much effort in as I want to if I am going out for the day or on holiday. You get back what you put in. I also like the eBay community plus the content creators on You Tube - very grateful for the information I have gleaned over the years.
I agree with all you say wholeheartedly .its been a godsend to me since I started out in 1996. I'm disabled from a car crash and now at 68 Ive been going daily for over 23 year and have suffered a heart attack and still working on the bay daily. What I make pays for our living. Good on you guys x
I like the seamless way you can list between taking photos on your phone and using your computer to finish listing . Also knowing about repeat customers- great feature for customer interactions
Excellent video - just what I needed - to be reminded that eBay is worth doing as on a bit of a slump at the moment. Can I ask what changes (if any) you are going to make following the recent announcement about General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) that goes into effect 13 December 2024. "It introduces specific safety-related information that businesses must provide when selling to buyers in the European Union (EU) and Northern Ireland (NI). If you don’t sell in or ship to these regions, the GPSR isn’t applicable to you." Will you amend GSP to exclude all EU countries? Cheers,
Thanks. We’ve not made any decisions on that, we’re likely to put our exempt items into one shipping policy and allow GSP, and shut everything else down. Just like EPR, we shut Germany down.
Hi guys, as I have only been selling since March I have to wait 14 days after the item has been delivered. Now I am on 7 days and not sure how long I have to wait till I get paid the next day like you. If the item was tracked I will get paid the same day or the next once the tracking has been updated. I am based in Jersey Channel Island, so the post can be a bit slow. I have tried to find out when I qualify for next-day payment but eBay customer service doesn't know when that will happen. Keep up the good work. Cheers, Alfie
I love eBay, especially for GSP - I’ve sent a huge pink lampshade to Korea and it was for a display in a Parisian cake shop! Only thing I would like is for the GSP centre to send all my packaging back 😂
Hello guys, what’s the guarantee that the item got to Lichfield un broken or broken? Also on eBay sending offers when it says 0 watchers? Much appreciated in advance.
Do you mean if something gets broken how do you know where it happened? Lichfield unpack and repack. We’ve not had anything arrive damaged at Lichfield yet 🤞 Would imagine they’d not be able to forward it on. Offers on items with 0 watchers can be a few reasons, heavy browsing is the number 1 reason. So someone that’s taken a good look at the page but not necessity added to their watch list. We saw the sell similar comment which is also possible. We only really sell similar on Sold items which are no longer active, so not sure how often that scenario would be making it happen.
l love the way ebay let rouge buyers neg you for naff all and the piss poor customer service when you contact a member of staff....all none english reading off a script . even heard kids crying in the back ground lol...
The pandemic certainly changed the way people work, we’ve had that with quite a lot of call centres, working from home and in many cases it never went back.
Do you have to have free shipping in order to be part of the GSP? i’ve read the guide on ebay but can’t work it out. Thanks for the videos btw, they’re really helpful x
No you don’t have to use free shipping. The buyer pays the price for the item plus your standard U.K. shipping fee then eBay charges them an additional fee for the international part.

Great one Lianne 👍
This couple win hands down with their informative presentation. Good humoured and lovely dogs as well
Woohoo! 🙌

Good to hear you’re making it work for you, can’t even imagine how it must be but you’re an inspiration to us all.
I love that eBay is much easier than Amazon to get hold of and to actually speak to someone who can help. Great video guys. Thanks
Yep, support is infinitely better
I like the seamless way you can list between taking photos on your phone and using your computer to finish listing . Also knowing about repeat customers- great feature for customer interactions
Both great, repeat is good, would love to be able to see what they bought just with one click
Hi L&m packaging will deliver what they say thay will 👍
How unusual to have positivity about eBay! There’s so much negativity at the moment so good to be reminded of the benefits
👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Cheers, awesome job

Great video. Please can you do one on how you package some of your breakables. Thank you
Yes, that’s always fun too. We have filmed packing them before, but they’re sprinkled through our vids as everything tends to be.
I have changed the CHA CHING so others think it's a text coming through
Good idea!

Thanks Alfie, it’ll be relating to number of sales I would imagine, sure it won’t be too long.

Haha yes that would be nice! I’m now trying to envisage a Parisian cake shop in Korea!
Best offers. Wish Etsy did this too.
Do you find people send or accept as often as they used to? It definitely feels like less Offer activity, but wondering if it’s just us?
@@Married2Reselling I find they send but it’s far too often a low ball offer that I counter🙄

When you get an offer pop up for an item with 0 watchers, someone has used that listing to sell similar

Doing a deal at car boot and saying "Oh I don't do Ebay" and then you get a Kerching in your pocket !!!!!!
🤣🤣🤣

@@ca7439 Thank you x
you charge domestic shipping at whatever rate you like. The customer pays that and the international charge which they pay directly to eBay.
Was a eBay sell for 11 years, it's gone down hill astronomical charges loads of unscrupulous buyers, glad you like it, but not for me sorry
The eBay blamers are not going to like this video 😂
Everything is eBay's fault isn't it? 😂😂
Surprisingly, we haven’t had any along yet, perhaps a change of title will help 🤣
