Great video. Really got down to the nuts and bolts of the process, and explained your reasoning for doing things the way you did. I hope you keep making content like this, and like the beer can chicken. Thank you.
Thanks for the info! You actually answered my question about the lack of hydrometer - I was a bit paranoid hearing all the horror stories about bottles exploding. So about 14 days for the fermentation to stop in this case, and 30 days to make sure it fully stops.
I love discovering that I'm not the only person using a graduated cylinder that has the same damage. 🤣 I have plastic ones but they are a much larger diameter and thus require more must to test with, so I find myself using the broken one more often than not. 😜😂
I live on a well, would this negatively impact the flavors of the mead due to the minerals in the water? (I do have a water filtration system that works on salt)
Bro you hit all the points that I was wanting to know. Thanks
I appreciate that you used a vacuum sealer to suck the C02 out! Great idea!

@@AtomicDudMan Minerals help a fermentation. I’d avoid well water only if it tasted bad.
What about cold crashing? Is that nessecary?
Cold crashing is nice, but not necessary
