Love the squirrel houses! Been watching from Oklahoma for years… introduced my husband to your videos and he’s hooked. We just got married in May. We are 65…. met in high school when we were 15. He was the first boy who ever asked me out. We went our separate ways after school … had some hard times… ended back up in our old neighborhood because our parents health was failing. We lost our parents… found each other again. Life is hard, but sometimes things work out. ❤
I love squirrels too... I moved to an apartment after my Mom passed.....so I miss feeding the birds , squirrels, racoons ..any thing I saw that needed some help.....miss it so much..... They got nice houses...Great job Angie🦝🖐️🐿️🐦🐦⬛ and Jim
That was such a nice tour of your yard. The squirrel houses are terrific. James, I hope your health doesn't worsen. You and Angie are So Great together. The raccoons and other wildlife are lucky to have you both, and so are we. 😊❤
The squirrels will LOVE those nesting boxes, Jim & Angie! In the Spring, you'll be able to watch all the new little baby squirrels venture out of the nesting boxes for the first time. The babies are always such sweet little acrobats, lol.
Those squirrel house are real nice they can make warm and comfy for the little one and think they will be safe Jim take it easy you push to hard please take care of yourself we all need you and especially for your Angie. Best wishes Susan Hirsch
U are just such a good human; and u attract them as well; ur wife is amazing!!! U know I love all the raccoons 🦝 and squirrels 🐿️ Jim!!! Thank u for all the help with all these fur babies thru the years I appreciate it always good to hear your voice ❤❤❤
Jim, I am so impressed with your Garage. You can tell a lot about a man by his garage. Everything is organized and taken care of. and everything is spotlessly clean. You remind me so much of my Dad. his garage and work space wherever we lived, looked like that: a place for everythinng and everything in its place. Thakk you for a tour in daylight of your property. I like the way you and Angie have rearranged the space indoors, for easier acess to the porch.. ❤
That's cute. Nut houses for the "nutty" squirrels. 🐿🐿🐿😂 We have a store nearby called The Nut House, they sell pecans and all kinds of goodies.😊 Hope your doors they are working on are nice.
Sure gonna miss the raccoons this year and sure gonna miss the babies this year. So maybe next year. Thank you for the enjoyment you have brought us in the past few years. Gary B.
Thanks for the tour Jim!! Your property is really nice!! It was great to see how the raccoons travel from the woods to the diner!! You have done quite a bit to your property for your dining friends!! Thanks for sharing!!
Nice job on the squirrel houses! Your barn looks very organized! Angie, your "ponytail is so cute"!!! Like the shorter table, gives you more room to walk around. See ya later tonight hopefully! ❤
Nice squirrel house. I think I might qualify because it's a "nut house" 😅. We owned a trailer exactly like yours and sold it to a man who drove an hour and a half to see it..he couldn't believe what good shape it was it and bought it immediately. We have never needed it since as we use the half ton truck to go to the dump if needed. I love your yard tours.
Hi Jim. I hope squirrels will appreciate the houses. I put one up where I spend summers up in Northern Ontario, at house my dad left. The squirrel house is on a tree like yours, and across from the kitchen windows so I can see them. Alas the squirrels never used it. I have 4 red squirrels this year coming to the feeders. 2 were looking like tiny identical babies early in July. The mom I recognize coz she had swollen teats so she was feeding the babies. I see another adult squirrel which must be the dad. I don't know where they stay but not in the squirrel house. I guess they like where they live already. There are raccoons around here I see climbing trees and perhaps the squirrels find that intimidating. Not even birds go in it. . I saw a squirrel once sitting on top of the squirrel house eating unshellled peanut I put out, so it looked hopeful but he never stayed. I have a lot of trees, the house being next to the bush so the animals are staying somewhere else. Looking forward to seeing your houses occupied. That would be nice. ❤
Where i live in NW WA, Fish & Game encourage us to put up houses for Bats. They are similar in size and shape to the Squirrel houses. , but the bottom end is open. If the squrrels are not using them, perhaps you could modify a squirrel house, so bats can hang inside and sleep in the daytime .. They are beneficial to the environment. IDK where they go in the winter, prob migrate south.or to caves in the mountains?
@@prarieborn6458Sounds nice. I like bats. I saw one up close and personal on a tour. The guide gave him something to eat and he was munching away upside down. Where I live I've never seen a bar. Lots of other wildlife but no bat. I did see many bats hanging upside down in a cave in Tobago years ago.
Nice tour. Love your property. Exactly the kind of place I am looking for somewhere here in the Greater Alabama, Tennessee area. I dont want to be able to see neighbors and I don't want to hear cars going by on the road. But all the wildlife will be welcome.
So cute and funny! George Costanza has no deal with the squirells, haha! James you know what I mean I think, cause you may have seen that Seinfeld episode.
Thank you for all your videos. I live in New York and people do not treat raccoons like you do. Squirrels are very cautious animals in NY so thank you for helping them out. I cannot stop watching your videos since discovering them. Keep making videos. I do you tell the raccoons apart. That is one question I have for you and your wife
Jim how’s come you don’t plant a couple tomatoes and one cucumber plant. A 4’x8 raised bed would surprise you how much you can get out of it. Last year we had 145 cucumbers from two plants.🌱
I feed birds, cats, squirrels, and raccoons. I have had to be creative because I have a small rental. So I have my bird feeders clamped on a 6ft high pole off my 5ft fence - I never see the raccoons or squirrels climb up, thankfully. I don't even have a baffle. I have a bird bath clamped to the fence next to it. I have two squirrel boxes about 5 feet away from the feeders and the squirrels seem smart enough to know that these are their nuts and the bird feeders are not for them. However, I bring in the nuts at night because raccoons got word on the street and they ravaged thru my garden and destroyed everything. So I started putting a bucket of water and a tray of food out on the other side of my rental to guide traffic that direction. It's not successful yet, they still ravage the bird bath and hummingbird feeders and squirrel boxes every night trying to find food. I would rather not bring everything inside every night because I don't have any room to. But I'm also trying to prevent the cats, squirrels, and birds from contracting raccoon worms from their feces. I can't lie, I'm actually very worried about that.
Do the houses have a back door? Squirrels have a back door at their nests, so they can escape if a predator comes in. They cover the doorways with moss or nava to keep the heat in.
I have always been surprised that you did not have a cover to park your car under. Is it because of snow getting deep and having to get it out? Also, I did not know that you could get a squirrel house and they would live in them. I need to do that myself in Mississippi. I thought they just built their nest but now I want to try a squirrel house. That one was so cute too. Your raccoon trails are so prominent. Mine are not quite as much as yours. I love watching your channel and you and ANGIE.

That’s kind of you ❤. Dogs have kept squirrels out of our fenced yard for several years-and I haven’t had to treat my cats for fleas. Just sayin’
We are squirrel people. I love these houses.
So nice!! I have a whole list of wishes to be done, but it is hard to get anyone to work or someone you can trust
Love the racoon sign❤❤❤😂

Watching the shed section, I don't know how you remember where everything is.
Thanks for showing us around. Do youins have snakes up there. Your property is beautiful
