Great. But what I did like more was the theatre owner trusting the avr and going with the avr. The lfe for me is the way to go . Manul with external amplification s using even a processor is something I don't go with. Simply because the avrs from marantz or denon are very powerful nowadays and lfe gives you that balanced output which you cannot achieve manually as you have to set the sound for different films or music when it's so. Moreover complicasies can be avoided when a single unit is good enough. This theatre will definitely have that balanced output
Yes your correct he is but having bigger screen means also your L/R speakers being shifted to the correct required spot. As well as decore work would need to change.

Nice setup. What I don’t understand when people make these home theatres is that they don’t have massive screens. Why spend all of that money and have a small screen? I am poor and I have a 185” screen.
Man, I reallt wonder how the bass affect the neighbours that double drywall with green glue is good but nothing to stop bass from a set up like that. Concrete block wall would have been so much better.
It surprising does a good job of reducing the bass noise outside of the shed by about 50% I would say. My neighbors aren’t terribly close and they would have to be outside and by the property edge to hear it well. Worst case senecio in the future I can build a block “house” around this shed. 😂
@@MANSHED Because I have to say my sub are at least 50% less powerfull than yours and even if my HT is in my basement the bass wave can be feel by my neighbours that is 8 feet away ( city house ). So yea, distance is key I guess and nice set up !
MacGp100 not sure how you can visually decide my screen is too high from this video 😂 but I did happen to lower the screen 3.5” to be just above the feet of the front row reclined position. As for no “perfect reference seat” it more about the people that will be enjoying this room with us than the need to have a perfect reference seat. My original design was 3 seats in the first row and 4 seats in the back row. I added an extra seat in the first row after thinking through the family members that would be coming regularly to watch with us.
Billf0rd the popcorn machine is in the aircon vent system in the middle top ceiling of the room, with a touch of button..it rains popcorn! LOL jokes.. but yes im sure thats on his to do list 😆
The installation of the Receiver should not be visible at the front.. the lights are disturbing!! Some things are very good, but some very important things I mentioned are very badly planed..
“very badly planned”... 🤦🏻♂️ yes, the AVR rack is covered now and no distracting lights. Can I see a video of your “perfectly planned” built by yourself first ever home theater? 😉
Michael Mansell I have no video but some pics in a forum... my budget was lower, around $6.000... www.heimkinoverein.de/forum/thread/18068-erste-grüße/
A home theatre is a personal space and I am sure he will change things and may keep other things as they are. There is no correct way to set up speakers or even the size of the screen it really comes down to the individual choice.
Everyone to their own, im sure michaels got a good reason for going 110. Sometimes not everything has to be perfect, some sacrifices are made for different reasons.
hstudio3.0 & MacGp100 it’s actually very perfect for the space for us. No sacrifices made. It is exactly 46° viewing angle from the The center front row seats. Any bigger and we would have to sit in the back row. This also allowed room for the right and left speakers to be positioned at an angle to perfectly point to the money seats. So yes, to each their own on screen size but this is perfect for my wife and I.
@MacGp100 Viewing distance dictates the size of your screen I would say he pushed the limits of his screen size. You also have too allow for distance between the screen and the wall otherwise the wall will start to interfere with the screen and the viewing experience.
Haha! It’s not too far-inside our house. Can’t do a bathroom without a huge extra cost, and building permits. Didn’t need any for this! 😉We maximized the shed space, and it’s perfect for us. You could certainly build a bathroom if needed though! 🙂👍
bm packer lol 😂 my wife said that’s the only thing missing but if I had done that I couldn’t permit the structure as a shed and there is a bathroom about 30’ away inside the house. 👍🏻
I have a bathroom in my home theatre building but it makes the build more complicated as you have to have water and waste system planned. And then there is the issue of do you have the adequate space for the size of the building to have a bathroom.

Only thing missing, and its not even a big deal, a popcorn machine.
As mentioned in the video, michael still has to finish things...one of fhem is building a cover for the av rack.🤙
Well said 🤙
and 110 inch screen is too small for the room. 150 whould have been easily possible
@MacGp100
Viewing distance dictates the size of your screen I would say he pushed the limits of his screen size.
You also have too allow for distance between the screen and the wall otherwise the wall will start to interfere with the screen and the viewing experience.
Should of gone krix
Hi Tom, whys that?
@@hstudio30 amazing speakers for movies
They are indeed but so are these..krix isnt well know in the u.s.. these infact are pretty high quality speakers.
@@hstudio30 great room are you a fan of antham
Anthem is a great brand yes. You shopping for anything?
Where's the bathroom? Have to have one if you're going to swill ale out there.
Lollllll
I have a bathroom in my home theatre building but it makes the build more complicated as you have to have water and waste system planned.
And then there is the issue of do you have the adequate space for the size of the building to have a bathroom.
wow, what a waste of money on the electronics. I don't have any reference point for the rest of it, but I don't think all those are necessary.
May i ask why its a waste of money? Your not into home theater?..
