Am I weird that I only play blackjack and baccarat straight up and ignore all the side bets? Yes, I've seen some big hits from other people but far and away (especially for me) it's basically dead money.

I will be honest with you, I am a really nice guy and a generous person overall but I honestly wouldn't have done that. Kudos to him for being so damn nice.
I tip if I win but NEVER when I am losing. It doesn’t make sense why players are expected to tip even when they lose. The casino should pay their employees and tips should be extra for them.

@@mohammedkhaliq1475 I’m a table games dealer and I respect that 100%. When players are losing I do not expect any tips and I don’t get angry at them for not tipping. Although, there’s just some very very nice people who even if they lose they’ll give me like a few dollars or sometimes even 10$ and thank me. I feel guilty when that happens and always ask, “are you sure?” Before taking it.

@@SAsh-zg6ln Watch the board. patterns develop over time. The board meaning the history of previous hands winning and losing streaks. Sometimes it goes bank player bank player bank player. That's called chop chop. Then there's bank runs like 3-6 or more where the bank is winning every hand in a row.
There's the 2 - 1- 2 pattern where it goes bank bank player bank bank player bank bank player. It could go the other way around as well, player player bank, player player bank, player player bank, and tends to continue doing so for 3-5 or more alternations in a row.
These are the type of patterns that Baccarat tends to follow. At times it will run for 6 on the player or bank and then stop for one hand, then run back on either bank or player 6 more times, or could create a L shape with 7 in a row, then stop and go once the other way then run 6 more time to create a closed rectangular pattern.
If you play for over a year consistently you'll begin to sense all these types of patterns. The toughest thing is to catch any of them when they are in occurrence. You just can sense it sometimes and go with your gut instinct to benefit from such.
If the casino you're at doesn't have a digital display of the full history, ask them for a score card. The dealer should get one for you and a pencil. Mark players as a X and banks as a O on the card. Streaks should go vertical in direction to keep track, but the score should go from left to right regarding who's winning long term.
Patterns dont matter…. Doesnt change the odds one bit…. Just bet on banker and be done with it
You need to play with other people. That way you don’t need to bet every single hand and can get a better feel for the shoe. Also keep in mind losing streaks can occur no different from winning streaks. That means you should come prepared to experience anything and everything that’s possible playing Baccarat. Like any high risk gambling never expect to win and only bring the amount of money you’re willing to lose.

You were risking far to much that's why. Be on the safe side and only risk the casino's money once you manage to get a lead on them. That's the wisest methodology to get that edge. Never bet heavy when it's your own money you're risking. That's what playing it safe does. Instead bet the minimum till the winning streaks roll in your direction. If not and you've been playing for 30 mins plus. Take a break do something else for maybe 5 to 10 mins and go back afterwards. You should still have money on you by that time and can try again, but stick to the minimum till you get a strong commanding lead. Trust me this is by far the wisest approach to any sort of betting strategies. Good luck!
