@@artificialsociety22 well I already had this apartment for about 8 months now my lease was 9 months and originally my intentions were not to start an Airbnb, so my expenses were much higher because I actually lived here and bought a lot of furniture and things I like to use like a Alexa and a blender and you know things that make it more home like. but I would say a couple thousand Only because my bed and couch alone were about 2k and all the dishes and pans and appliances like toaster and things like that were easily another few hundred dollars.
I literally was on IG one day and saw these young men dropping knowledge and I watched it then he said “if you wanna hear more go to our RUclips channel” and I did that and I have been hooked since. Thanks so much for the videos and speakers... and the questions that y’all take out of my head and ask the guest...lol

Don't compare yourself to her..God has you where He wants you. Maybe you are stripping beds in an airbnb to gain the experience to either start an airbnb or start a cleaning service for one...or that thing you do best in that business that no one else is doing. Pray about then go for it.

You have to understand the market its typically March to September, peak months, then the rest of the time you can run short term rental until the season peaks.
Love the knowledge being dropped.. something we do when we rent airbnb is wash the sheets ourselves before we sleep on the bed. I've bought my own sheets at local Wal-Marts also..

Learning on your own takes longer and paying for a course you will learn faster. Definitely depends on your urgency. I like learning myself, so I can teach later. But not all things you need to learn by self thou.

I've been following Alexia. Intelligent young lady. I would purchase the course but I don't like the fact that you can only access it for a short period of time. It has a high price tag and I get it but I would like to refer back. I would like to reap benefits from the course but is there a guarantee. Also is there a review site for the Instagram courses? For me it's unsettling to make a purchase and I don't know exactly what I'm purchasing until after I have paid for it. I made a mistake with a previous course. It gave a lot of information but starting would have to be by stumbling upon a diamond in the rough. Can the price of the course be written off when I file?
I haven't talked to her, but I have owned a security business before, and whenever the staff needed further training or I went to a Workshop/Webinar that I needed to pay for, it was written of under "EDUCATION/TRAINING". Hope that helps.
I'm confused how the whole sub-leasing thing works? How would i find someone who would allow you to rent their place to people on Airbnb? Do you have to tell them you plan on doing this? Why would they agree to this? Wouldn't they just do that themselves instead or renting to you? I'm in the UK by the way. This whole topic just confuses me, any help would be great. Thanks guys

Hey Paul, not everyone will agree with this but the right people will. You have to pitch it to them in a way that benefits both parties. Also not all landlords interested in short term rental but they may not have a problem renting to you long term for you to rent short term. I hope this helps. Best of luck.
If they could do It themselves they would be doing It lol but they aren’t you just have to pitch the landlord they are looking for a long term tenant ur are the “long term tenant “but u would just be sub leasing. Let them know as that would need to be in the contract and also let them know the pros of you managing that property for example A long term tenant doesn’t usually have professional cleaners clean their house regularly.

But for homes if you’re looking into something like that Zillow and Redfin. Redfin shows more multi family homes if you’re interested in that.
