got excited by these when I saw them pop up on ebay months ago only to realize there was no pci-e adapter available for purchase. now there is but at an unreasonable price. thinking if I should hoard and wait for the Chinese to make cheap adapters.
@@ericlawrence9060 Price adjusted there. The price is high because production costs are high for low volumes, as soon as there will be demand - price will be lower
@@thismaybeyou1193 thanks a lot! 500 € without 3even nvlink support makes absolutely no sense wallet wise. At the final costs GPU smx2+adapter board kit rn someone can get a v100. Maybe Chinese shops might have more reasonable pricing but I could not find anything on AliExpress or Alibaba

The performance is nice for its price! But how much is the pci-e adapter? :)
Expensive and unreasonable, ebay has some for 400-500$ range
@@thismaybeyou1193 they're around 200$ on taobao and probably less on xianyu
@@thismaybeyou1193 oofff that's the dealbreaker 😆Hope they'll get cheaper soon.

I'm currently interested in Nvidia A16. It seems great for doing AI work because of 64 Gigs VRam. Hopefully it catches your interest.
@@RulaNovelis don’t buy A16 it has 4X 3050 16g gpus on board. AI will only use single card. 4090 or lower budget V100 is better option
@@thismaybeyou1193 I see. Thanks for the expertise.
Well I currently run P40. I find myself needing more Vram because of the new advancements

why does the pcie card only have one mezzanine connector
