There's a huge problem with glue these days!
Velcro, very posh, you don't see that a lot in collector's editions. Looks decent. Great unboxing mate. Think it shouldve been £30, a WWA wouldve been perfect for a steelbook

My exorcist one was worse, nearly whipped off the actual box art. Yeah £30 would be fair. Thanks :)

I didn't go for this myself. The standard version was enough for me this time. Sorry to admit, but I'm not a big enough fan of the film! 😯 But this set does look really cool!
Oh man, I should have watched this video first because of the glue!

What’s crazy is that this is about the same price in the states but it doesn’t come with a hard box like that, it’s just cheaper, thin card stock. The 4K case itself is also thinner, watching this I’ve decided to return my US one and order this. I wonder if the steelbook will fit in that slipcover?

Oh that’s annoying, I don’t blame you! I have the steelbook at home, I can try on Monday and let you know. I think it would be a squeeze

I have the steelbook release as well, but haven't upgraded to this yet. The pop up art is pretty neat. I'm sucker for a good booklet with some essays or critic writing though, and would always take that over a set of lobby cards. I think that set is going for $50 US right now which seems a little steep, but that's the current state of physical media I guess!

You and me both! As I said, I’m happy with the set but do think it’s a little steep. I actually like the steel book release too.

I picked up the standard edition in a 2 for £30 recently - glad I didnt bother with this collectors set - would have expected at least different artwork or something else to differentiate the 2.

@@RetroReels yeah, it was a shame it didn’t come with new artwork or anything! Let’s hope the 40th is better 😆
