- A very exclusive FULLY ACOUSTIC video of the entrancing traditional Swedish song "Gröne Lunden" as performed by Steve Sic and Jenny in their duo project "OMNIA-Poëtree" on two beautiful Celtic Harps. This song was recorded LIVE at Dreamharps (where they host their popular and very intimate Poëtree concerts). Many thanks to Ans & Hans van der Harten for letting us record the song there, you were really quiet!

They're incredible; they can play almost any instruments but they can also speak (and thus sing in) about 7 different language. They also make a pretty cute couple!

In Dutch this is pretty close to the Swedish;

That's what I was thinking besides Harpo Marx usually just see women playing the Harp.
And a handsome man he is
Also if you watch their hands when they play, the woman seems to be a better player. Her hands have to move more and the man, at one point, only play with one hand, but she always play with both. It's really hurtful for her to be impressed by her partner more than her just because he happens to be a man.
Obviously you have never seen Aryeh Frankfurter. He plays Celtic Harp, Swedish Nyckelharpa, Ukrainian Bandura, Bouzouki, Cittern and more. Check him out. VERY talented.
In addition to the others mentioned, Oliver SaTyr of Faun plays a beautiful harp as well as Nyckelharpa.
Nothing is as beautiful and haunting as the Celtic Harp.
My depression has had a grip on me the last several days and listening to this music and them singing has just calmed every raging storm inside of me. It may only be temporary but I'm grateful for it ❤️
You should look into this music more often then :) Celtic/Pagan music always touches my very soul, I don't know why but you can just feel the powers of those ancient times through it. It is as if it to me the language or lament of the earth, both healing and mesmerizing. It feels like home 💚

It’s musicians like this that inspire others I think, also thanks to social media groups like on fb there’s many people now learning and helping others learn all kinds of instruments like this. It’s how I bought myself one from a professional pianist.
This is so incredibly beautiful. Knowing their relationship, knowing she taught him the harp, knowing their other music, it is sublime. Just takes you away to a better place.
When they sing it's magick. They carry such beautiful spirit in their voices, the duel harps just add to the power. I want to see them live so badly!!! They need to add Chicago to their tours. The gods have truly blessed them. Amazing...

Nope. It's swedish. Had it been norwegian the lyrics would have sounded like this:

"Gröne" can be used together with/or as a name in some cases. For instance: Gunnar den gröne instead of Gunnar den gröna. Which one you use depends on the context

I left that comment two years ago. People are still mad about it. It was a short criticism, bad but still just simple criticism. Like you can get when you post something online, that's how it works. I don't remember making the comment. I was being to literal, I can see that. I was nitpicking, I can see that. Don't know why I responded to a comment that was 3 years old back then. Why respond to an old comment? That was dumb ad weird of me. I don't remember making that comment, so I don't wanna fight off people mad about it now 2 years later. If it makes anyone feel better, when I read it now I think I was wrong. The original comment was more or less accurate, don't see a problem with it. It's was a good translation. I'm a 63 yr old woman & my husband purchased a lovely double strung harp for me. He's a wonderful man & it worries him when I fall into a black hole of depression. I could no longer weave & I'd suppressed my longing for a harp for a very long time. After more than 40 yrs of marriage, I'd never mentioned it.
Now, I'm looking for music I like & I love your Grün London (?) piece.
Could you share a US place that carries the sheet music & the CD? It's so lovely.
Of course, it's all so new to me, but it lifts my spirits... Often, just by holding the harp.
There's a tiny music store, locally, but I don't have a clue if they carry your music or know where to find it.
Our wonderful bookstore has closed due to the Amazon effect. 😥 I'm a shut in & want to be able to play well, so while some affects of internet commerce are bad, others are absolutely necessary.

I used to live in the Forest, and go Roaming with my herd. This music calls those old times to mind. Willi B., homeless and heartbroken, in the city now.
Currently taking harp lessons (only 4th one) and my Harp Teacher has taught me the first part of this. Hopefully we are going to duet this harp and singing once fully learned. Amazing song!! Amazing for inspiration
