Welcome back ted from your surgery, I really love that you take the time to show all these different attachment. There is nothing like this on the internet keep up the good work!!!
Nice to see a thoughtfully designed implement that uses robust USA made components. That looks like a piece of equipment that will last a lifetime. Good job!
I was brush hogging a heavily overgrown field like at the end of your video that had been left for 11 years but I used a 650 John Deere and a M4 woods brush hog and it took everything I could dish at it. It's amazing what the right setup will accomplish
The brushhog you are using on that tractor reminds me of the one my friend had. When I purchased my tractor and saw the size of the brushhog I got with it, I thought it was too large for that tractor, but it worked out after putting weights on the front of the tractor. Some people claim that they turn their brushhog over to work on it. The one I have is too large and heavy for that. The delivery man said that I could cut some large brush, but I told him that I wasn't going to put through that. That is what chainsaws was made for. Thanks for sharing the video and showing what your brush cutters can do.
most cutters will not be damaged and can do a great mulching job if your travel speed is less than he does here. He running so fast to show you how much he can cover. If you go about half as fast,,this cutter will easily handle anything the tractor can push over,,and some that raises the front axle off the ground. This cutter, running at rated speed, has blades tip speed high enough that you wont have a problem..no need for a chain saw for most jobs,,,sit in the seat and get the job done,,,and mulch tree and branches all at the same time,,,,turning cutter over is not too hard if you have a tree limb for winching,,,or just pick up with tractor lift from the side and put very large timber underneath about 2 ft high,,,regards
3:19 the purpose of "stitch" welding is to stop any cracks from spreading thru the entire length of the weld. if youre aiming for strong welds, use spray transfer.
Nice piece of equipment. I had to laugh at the yellow jacket comment. I remember my dad cutting big stuff like this often when I was a kid and it wasn't a matter of if but when he would eventually get the snot stung out of him by yellow jackets and it happened often.
I got a 38hp Mahindra. I got one of these bush hogs but it needs blades, Seals in the gearbox and a new drive shift. It's a King Cutter. Do you think it's worth it to fix up? I'm NOT cutting brush, just grass and weeds. Are these good for that or should I look into a different attachment?
Do you not find that bush hogging in forward motion tends to flatten the "grass" with the wheels and the hog misses it, then 2 days later its standing up again. We tend to go un reverse although we have a slightly different machine. In reverse it also helps stop the grill blocking up.
Instead of a solid shield we have a 10 or 12mm bar the full width with 3 to 5 chain links hanging from it at chain width intervals. It stops things flying out but goes over thicker stuff without damaging the shield
I have a 25HP tractor that i'm going to be clearing land with. I'm going to be mowing over some tall grass, small branches and alot of vines. What would work better, a brush hog or a Flail Mower?
Either attachment should do fine. A flail mower is known to chew up the vegetation more completely, but our brush cutters do produce some nice results at less money than a flail. Thanks for watching! Check out the Italian flails we offer here: www.everythingattachments.com/Phoenix-SLE-Tractor-Flail-Mowers-p/phoenix-sle-flail-mower.htm
My in laws Ford(Japanese)tractor had a two-stage clutch and I’d cut with it from time to time. The tach had a little PTO insignia on it where you’d run the engine for proper cutting regardless of your ground speed. I don’t recall exactly but I think it was around 2500rpm. What RPM is recommended on your cutter?
We recommend the speed of the PTO to be 540 RPM, which is achieved at a different engine RPM for various tractors. On the tach, along with the engine RPM, there should be a corresponding reading showing where 540 RPM is.
We wouldn't recommend going over 72". Check out our Wicked cutter here www.everythingattachments.com/EA-Wicked-XTreme-Duty-72-Inch-Rotary-Brush-Cutter-p/eta-xdbc-72.htm
How do large rocks come into play when using your rotary cutter? I have a subcompact tractor John Deere 1025R and a 48" brush cutter. My land is uneven in many places and the brush can conceal large rocks that I have hit. I have some minor dents that have appeared on the cutter but no ill effects with the cutter or tractor so far. I do wish I had more lift for the cutter and was wondering if I should adjust the wheel down and bolts three point hitch bolts down. I do using an iconnect on my 3-point and it seems to make attachments more stable.
Thanks for watching! Our cutter's blade pan, known as a stump jumper, is intended to "jump" the unit over large objects such as stumps and rocks, but adjusting the height would add more protection, especially in areas where you're not really sure what you could run up on. I hope this helps!
Nobody ever seems to mention what happens if you hit a good sized rock. One that isn't going to move.. how do you prevent that? I'm thinking of clearing old logging roads that never had the ro is r3moved bc it was travelled by skidders back in the day
Newbie question. What is the proper deck angle for general use of bush hog? I noticed yours was set pretty flat. The one I just picked up is set with it angling up in the rear when it's mowing.
It seems when I cut with a rotary cutter whatever brush my tires roll over and lays down does not get cut so I end up with strips of uncut grass. Is there something I can do about this?
arlingtonguy54 If the rotary cutter blade rotates counter clockwise, mow clockwise and over lap a foot or so to pick up and cut vegetation laid down by the tires on the previous pass. This is what the instructions say that came with my cutter.
Thanks for watching! You have enough tractor for up to 10+ feet as long as you get one designed for a tractor like yours. Some like to stay narrow if they have tight areas to fit in. The largest cutter we make is 72" and we tested it on a 100 pto HP tractor. Check it out along with the video on this page www.everythingattachments.com/EA-XTreme-Duty-72-Inch-Rotary-Brush-Cutter-p/eta-xdbc-72.htm Feel free to call or email sales@everythingattachments with any questions.
Can you help me? i'm finishing to realise an homemade bush hog: can you tell me about blades or chains? how many feets in larger? wich ir the rate of the gear?-------thank you
Does anyone else remove the front guard? I find mine seems to push over the material too much and I end up with some stragglers left behind that I have to go back over. Speed does not seem to be the issue. I've even reduced the RPMs to see if the lower airflow would prevent blow over. I have found that this Xtreme is tough as heck! I know I push the limits on what I should be mowing, but it works like a champ.
So I decided to remove the front guard and cut the field. Man what a difference! I kept it in my truck just in case, but never needed it. Because I keep my backend set higher than my front by about an inch, I did not notice any more debris being thrown than before when it had the guard.
Would there be Any advantage mounting another set of blades 90 degrees off the factory set on the stumpjumper? Would that help cut the vegetation into smaller pieces?
I am no expert but I think it's to add weight to improve traction and also helps with stability on slopes, so reduces chances of turning over the tractor.
Ballast......when you have a front end loader and are picking up shovels full of dirt and rocks, the loaded tires help keep the rear end on the ground.
You can almost double the quality of the cut just by dropping one gear. This guy is traveling to fast in the tall stuff. I understand this is just a testing thing going on here.
We make a great one. Check it out here www.everythingattachments.com/EA-XTreme-Duty-72-Inch-Rotary-Brush-Cutter-p/eta-xdbc-72.htm Thanks for watching and commenting!

WARNING: I was watching the part for check rear tire pressure adjustment by releasing air pressure until the outside tire tread touches the pavement. I like that. But I have seen a lot of people do stupid things. I just imagined someone keeping their finger in the gap while releasing the air pressure, until they got their finger smashed under the weight of the tractor. I thought it funny, but sad to think someone might actually get trapped with no one around to help them. Warning: Do not keep you finger under the tire while releasing air pressure.
I would love this for my land. I don't have any experience with doing this and I'm a women but I need to learn because it is just me and my four kids. I bought five acres and have tried by hand to get rid of everything but it takes a lot of time I don't have. Please email me more details and contact info, I live in Texas but drive over the road and go to NC a lot.

thanks for your explanations and comparasons with other brands especially how it is fabricated. thank you.
Seems extremely well thought out. I'll look into a 4' for my BX2670

How much PTO horsepower is recommended for a 7’ rough cut mower used for mowing pasture?
Any plans to build a flail mower by Everything Attachments?

Does you cutter make a vacuum under neath an if so why not put a chute on the one side to blow out the cuttings
Great video! Learned a lot! What would be the largest brush hog I should get for my Tym T454 (46hp, 36hp PTO)?
Thanks!

Another good video with tons of information
Thanks for this video
In high grass or sage brush, how can you prevent the grill from being covered up with the lose leaves and other such debris?
How do you deal with debris hidden in the brush such as; tires, trash, cinder blocks, junk etc???

Mitch . kill of the areas where u know u hit rock. i do that with the random concrete i find.. old apartment complex

One that isn't going to move.. how do you prevent that? I'm thinking of clearing old logging roads that never had the ro is r3moved bc it was travelled by skidders back in the day
Few questions... how thick is the bar and the shaft and how do you tell what the HP speed of the gear box is?
Newbie question. What is the proper deck angle for general use of bush hog? I noticed yours was set pretty flat. The one I just picked up is set with it angling up in the rear when it's mowing.
You want it angled just a tad higher in the rear to push out the clippings behind the bush hog.
What size brush cutter would be best for a 65hp tractor with 55hp at the pto? The tractor is about 74” wide at the outside of the rear tires.
Thanks for watching!

EverythingAttachment do u guys make Bush Hogs for tractors that are 21 PTO HP? my 08 jd x724 is 21 pto hp.
***** 4 foot model would work for your tractor.Don't let then grass get more than 4 feet tall if you want to maintain a faster ground speed.
James Tyree II o ok cool thank. :)
Like that you’re very explanatory Please keep being explanatory

how big of a brushhog will i need for a 2000 ford and it need to fit a 8n ford
Our 60" Everything Attachments brush cutter would be perfect for both of your tractors.
I have a greenhorn question what is the purpose of putting water in the back Tires?
I am no expert but I think it's to add weight to improve traction and also helps with stability on slopes, so reduces chances of turning over the tractor.
thanks

my grandpa got a free king cutter and it spites out of the front and we mow watermellon field at my house and the weeds are 1 inch thick

yep
i choose 4th on my ford 800 and that leaves an exelent cut in grass even that size
@@beechermudmowers5397 My ground is so rough I have to go slow (3.5 mph ) so I get awesome cuts.
do you make a 72 inch cutter

Wait for about a week, then, cut it again and it will look much better. grass will begin to grow for cattle feed.
Thanks for the video...
Got to have one.
Why not back into the cut?
TheMachiningman you risk bending shields if you do and it requires turning around, so it is less safe and less comfortable than going forward.
I believe Peanut drives a race car for a living!
Massey Ferguson should always be on the list. Preferably at the top of the list. #teamredandgray
19:17 mark... ya missed a spot peanut. slow that Massey down!
