Get the striping kit for it.... it lays nice lines without it but big league lawns makes a roller for this mower and its unreal. Thinking of getting this mower with the caster wheels.

I’m thinking casters would be a better fit for mowers this size.

Everyone says that, what is the advantage of the casters, having a 36” belt mower and getting wore out, Ive ran this on a hill one handed which is the same hill in the video I almost put a 36” vride in the pond I think the vride had 2 hours on it and I was driving forward and was going backwards do you have a mower in mind that has the casters I could look for to try and do a comparison with? This mower hugs the ground and runs strait lines one handed where the 20” mowers bounce with both hands, I didn’t record by the pond but I got as close to the edge as a 20” mower could but actually sucked in more long grass to make it look like I was closer than the 20”. Just explaining my thoughts after using this on a yard I have had great struggles with in the past and being on the hill and close to the pond with a 2’ drop I think I would be more nervous of it washing out, I would like to here your thoughts

@@mysarisarilife5184 Scag actually said they're coming out with a mount on kit casters for this mower if wanted.

I’m seeing the way you turn a 180 at the end of the rows and it looks like it definitely would benefit with casters. At least as an option. You pinned yourself into a corner of the yard in one scene and it looked like you really had to wrestle the mower to get control. Not sold by what I’m seeing here. Thanks for vid.

So presumably you’ve put some more hours on it since this. Would you buy it again now? I’m very close to pulling the trigger on one for a one guy setup

No I bought the toro 30 a lot lighter I typically only use it on small areas I would probably buy a 36 walk behind before purchasing the Scag 30. I love my vride 2 but not this mower

I noticed you are able to pull your drive lever all the way to the handlebar. Is that what adjusting the clutch got you? If I pull mine all the way touching the handlebar it will run away from me. lol. Thank you for the video.

Question, Is it possible to mow on a radius, or does the differential lock?

Would have to lift up and turn it but at gie they had one with castors the last time I talked to Scag it was in the works but didn’t have a timeline but they are now showing it off so it’s getting closer to hitting the market

The real test would be here in the PNW where the grass is tall and always wet in the spring.

I am looking at this and the Toro Turfmaster. I need something that will adjust to more than 4 inch cutting height. Will this cat at 5 inches?
