Pretty good video but missing out on some of the damage rotation. After spreading a few rakes and ripping your first target you will have no energy, and by that time the pack should be grouped up, so you would go out of cat to apply sunfire, can moonfire a few mobs here as well. After that you go back into cat, apply thrash (5+ targets) if not already applied, finish applying rake to ALL targets then swipe/shred to apply more rips on beefy targets. As they start to die you can start to bite and or pool cp for the next pack or upcoming boss. As for ST you will want to apply sunfire and moonfire when you have no energy to shred, these are buffed by adaptive swarm which usually has some high uptime on ST bosses and will add a good amount of extra damage and is better than just sitting in cat form no matter hotw or not cause hotw buffs those spells as well as you do not need to be in boomie form for that. It is generally okay to send convoke on pull but its good to do so after expending all energy, but thats just sort of a min max situation.

good point about how after opening on a pack and spreading rake into first rip you will be low energy, but this is why you convoke during that downtime!
as for single target, when you are NOT in cat form, heart of the wilds passive will not generate you combo points! outside of HotW, I fully agree
after further testing from reading your comment, you're right! thrash is just very slightly a better global to use than shred depending on crits, but it's hard to factor in the value of the 5 energy you save when pressing shred.

@@seebs_keeps_talking it’s fine to not be in cat the whole time hotw is up. Hotw buffs all of our damage abilities. So it is even more ST to back out of cat when low energy and no convoke to apply sunfire and moonfire which will be buffed by hotw and also be buffed when swarm is on the boss. The ST rotation is very simple and that’s just literally keeping all dots/bleeds on the boss at all times. And yeah thrash is a good global at 5+ targets and you will aim to keep that applied and sunfire on AOE. Shred or swipe in AOE, it doesn’t really matter that much unless the target count is giga then swipe overtakes of course. swipe is just so bad right now it’s actually kinda sad that it wasn’t one of the abilities of ours that got buffed when we initially got buffed.

I mean, youre losing all the value of Master Shapeshifter if you keep Ripping at 4 instead of 5 no?

actually so true I didn't catch that, but honestly in a higher key, with real actual healing, master shapeshifter will not be ran unfortunately

      Actually Not 100% true.
Its 50/50 in terms of value.
The damage of rip always is increased if you spec Master shapeshiter.
You only miss out on the mana Refund with less than 5 points.
At the Start of the season i broke my head for hours thinking about it and try on Training targets.
