Only because of YOU did I order this JUST NOW!! Your recommendations in the air gun world means a lot to me. Your reviews are always so spot on. You're very passionate about your air guns, just as I am. I wish I knew your name to thank you by name because I have bought about 20 air guns thanks to your reviews. Thank you my British brother... all the way from NYC. Take care and God bless!!

VERY nice pistol but be careful with your trigger and hammer mechanism. This is the 2nd pistol in 4 months that has the same problem. I mounted a base plate for the reflex sight that I bought for the pistol and I finally got it all painted, to get rid of all that garbage writing on both sides of the slide. Then I removed any overspray between the slide and the pistol grip (I forgot the proper name is for it). Then I cleaned the inner parts, blew it out with my air compressor, then lubricated everything that could use a drop or two of silicone oil. EVERYTHING looked awesome so I got myself ready for some shooting. I grabbed 2 of the 3 magazines that I have and loaded with 4.5mm BB's, and an air cartridge into each magazine. So, I'm all set up to sight in my reflex red dot sight. Everything was good to go so I assumed the position, racked the slide, pulled the trigger and,,, SWEET F**CK-ALL,!! So I racked it again and still nothing. I dropped the magazine and 2 loose BB's followed. I tried squeezing the trigger many times and nothing was happening. So, this is the 2nd HK USP pistol that the trigger/hammer mechanism stopped working in the past 4+months!! Okay I will say 5 months,,, does that sound like a dependable pistol?? I'm screwed because it took me almost 6 weeks for someone to honour the 90 day warranty. I fought for the first 2 weeks to be able to replace the defective pistol and now it happened AGAIN. The only difference is that I was able to blast out BB's for almost 4 weeks with the first one but not 1 shot through the 2nd pistol,!! So if someone can help me out I would appreciate it more than you know. Thank you to everyone who reads this comment... I'm really pissed off because this pistol is amazing!! It's the closest thing to a REAL HK USP Pistol, 9mm, 40 cal and 45 cal ACP. Now I understand why this pistol is so reasonably priced. You can/could get this HK USP Blowback BB Pistol at 2 places in Canada for $139.00ish cdn I paid $135.00 cdn for mine...

This was the first blowback pistol I owned, I traded it to my friend for his glock. And just recently bought the USP back from him. Metal Gear Solid 2 and COD4 also made me want one.

The us Military were in need of an offensive service pistol to replace the colt 1911 but to be extremely durable, reliable and just as accurate as the colt 1911 was so Hk produced and submitted the HK USP 45 and the us special forces loved it and adopted it as there new sidearm, the hk is well known for being extremely reliable, robust and well built and to prove just how strong and well built the weapon is they put 20,000 rounds through it continuously with not a single malfunction and also to prove just how great the barrels were they put a squib in the barrel and then fired it out with a live round behind it and all that happened was a very slight bulge in tbe barrel whereas most other semi-automatic pistols would be blown up when doing something like that happens

For the longest time I’ve gone back and forth on the H&K USP, but in no small part due to this video I decided to take the plunge and purchased it last weekend. I’m so glad I did! Seriously, what a pistol. It’s incredibly solid and well-crafted, with a truly top-end finish. In terms of manufacturing and replica accuracy it's up there with the best of my collection, earning its place beside the Glock 17 Gen 4 and 5, the Springfield XDM, the Sig 'We The People' and the amazing Webley MKVI Police 4″ battlefield. Esteemed company indeed. It's a different gun to all of them, but evidently of the same class. And I've only encountered a comparable level of blowback crispness/solidity on the Glock 17/4 and the XDM. In summation, very highly recommended!

On an unrelated note, and absolutely feel free not to answer, but I find myself wondering how many replicas you own? It's a weirdly personal question, but I'm trying to work out what constitutes a truly comprehensive collection.

@@user-ts3tl1xw7x its a weird one but I always prefer not to say. I’m sure that makes me some kind of a weirdo! There are plenty great ones out there that I don’t think I’ll ever own just because they don’t ‘do it’ for me. There is a pretty specific reason for me picking each of the guns I have and showcase. I suppose if a person has all the ones they want, then the collection is complete. The problem is they keep making them! I’d have to say though, I feel there has been a drop in new ones to the market that excite me recently. Plus limited availability of those that do. I always say, if I had just one more, I’d almost have enough…

I absolutely agree with your assessment. I’m relatively new to this hobby, but it excites me on a daily basis. I can’t imagine running out of replicas I’d love to own. That said, I endeavour to carefully curate my collection as much as possible, although budget and availability play an obviously huge part.

Does the follower lock back ? Is there a round BB opening just above the lock back if it indeed does lock back ? I refuse to buy any airgun, quality made or not, that takes the fun right out of the whole experience simply because the manufacturer makes it such a chore to load BBs into a magazine. They spend such time and effort to make a fine replica, then insist on buyers breaking fingernails and fidgetting on what should be such a simple process. The 'Daddy' of all Special Ops pistols was the SOCOM 23, which was made by H&K and went for US field trials in the late 80's/early 90's. The H&K USP was the later generation version of the SOCOM 23 which ultimately found favour with Peace Officers, Sheriff's Dept. and Military Spec' units. The 15 round 9mm double stacked magazine made it popular amongst everyone and combined with it's absolute reliability in the field made it legendary with practical pistol shooters.
I love my 4.5mm version and couldn't agree more with your review, there's something special about this gun, it's solid construction, it's hefty recoil, the aggressive stippling on the grips go to make it a sure fire winner in my books. The replica benefits from having proper field strip-ability and the internals (springs and guides) are identical to the real steel version. Umarex hit the ball clean out of the park with this one !
