It's amazing how BJD's have become so much easier to customize, ie switching out parts, taking head or torso off, and have such smooth articulation compared to when I started looking at these dolls when I was a teen. Fairy Land is very good about this especially.

Lila Bayvas You could buy a recast but ...it's not looked upon in a positive way. you could buy one from someone who is also just selling thier legitimate doll is the best option.
Don't buy a recast. They will add more soon or you could always buy second hand. Trust me, as someone who bought a recast when I was first starting in the hobby they are not good quality and it is very illegal.
