I understand what you mean, but I don't really miss that. It is inspiring, for me, to have watched them evolve from those haphazard days to what they are now. They really honed their craft and were able to get to this point...which is what they actually wanted all along. I am so proud of them. I don't even know them, but who fucking cares. They are wonderful spirits who shared a big part of their lives and their experiences with a huge audience and I can't imagine how strange/good that feels. Forever a murderino ❤

I'M A BRAND NEW FAN AS OF LAST WEEK! one day i decided to open the "Podcasts" section of my Google Play app (for the first time since i don't normally listen to podcasts) and MFM was the first one up there. my first thought when i read the description of it was: "holy shit! i thought i was the only person in the world who is fascinated with murder & serial killers!" and i clicked on it immediately. ALL i've been listening to for the past week. i normally keep my headphones in at work & listen to music to keep me going...it's been these ladies lately. started with the most recent episodes until i decided that i HAVE to go back to the beginning. so i'm on episode 10 so far. some of these murders i already knew about bc i'm a diehard "Forensic Files" fan (and honestly any other show about true crime) but they have introduced me to lots of killers and cases that i've never heard of...i'm so excited about getting through the last 3.5 yrs worth of shows and staying up to date w/ the new episodes. #SSDGM

I remember moving out of my old house and I was packing everything up and I stumbled upon their podcast and they had two episodes and I was so bummed that's all they had but I couldn't wait for them to release more. I'm one of those people that gets obbsessed and then bored but I've been consistently listening to them for three years.
I dont remember how I found them but I got hooked pretty early. The great thing is that as a hetero man I don't even mind if they never get to the stories. I feel invested in their lives. (From a distance. Not creepy.) I could just listen to them talk about their lives for hours. Such great insights into how women think and feel, I sometime pause the podcast so that I can add my thoughts to the conversation. (As if they can hear me.) They remain the first, and the best.
