TR Hamza the JB4 standard maps only come into play after 3000rpm, but map6 is customisable. Also BSC do a resonator delete pipe that doesn’t drone in the cabin. Got mine done last month and haven’t looked back.

Yeah definitely a sleeper! Will keep the videos coming showing the various cars that people have and bits they've changed, makes the cars a bit more personalised for sure.
Loved the video :) nice to see the difference... one thing also to note that the jb4's performance is also limited by the settings.. higher boost more power lower boost less power... and u can have it kick in low down instead of all top end depending on what you like. but wicked video i really enjoyed it 😊!

Hamza. I’ve just had the res delete on my saloon using the vagsport pipe. It’s a lot louder than I was expecting! You can’t really tell from RUclips videos. It’s that loud I’m thinking about putting back to stock as it’s a bit too antisocial for me. Gonna give it a couple of weeks and see how I feel about it.

It's not the exhaust, it's the mapping. Euro models have slight overrun. My A3 8v is straight piped and is MUCH louder/better than that s3 but I barely get pops :'( And this is coming from someone who has the most expensive milltek available collecting dust lol . The dsg farts make such a loud snapping sound though ;)

If in the future you want to upgrade the power on your S3 i would personally get a custom remap thats modified on a rolling road. Then you get before and after dyno results to see exactly what power your cars pushing out. As you will already know a custom map is designed for your car and your car only unlike these boxes thats a one size fits all 😎
Yeah you can't beat a remap I agree with you definitely on that, this is great for those looking to preserve warranty though. As my car is only 8 months old I wont be messing with the warranty anytime soon :)
Yes your right. I forgot about that. I got my car custom remapped but i waited for the warranty to end. I have a seat leon 184 and it got put on the dyno and made 178 bhp and 295 lbs ft torque standard. It was supposed to have 181 bhp and 280 lbs ft torque from the factory. after the map it made 230 bhp and 350 lbs ft torque. I know its nothing compared to a S3 but it has totally transformed the car. The traction control light flashes quite abit now even in the dry. If your looking at boxes have a look at racechip aswel. 😎

even though your s3 is slower (in comparison with a tuned s3) your car still looks the best. Saloon looks wierd imo and somewhat understated. I know the s3 is a car which is pretty understated, but the saloon variant doesn't look aggressive nor sporty (just my oppinion). I believe you should leave your car stock.. I believe the s3 is a car packed with a whole heap of power and shouldn't be tapered with. It would be nice to keep your s3 stock for potential buyers looking at your video and I as a viewer, want an insight of what it feels like to own one these hot hatches as it is and how it compares with rivals. But who am I to tell you what to do with your car.. You enjoy and do what you feel is right. I'm just happy for the continous uploads. All of them are just amazing keep it up!

Wow... I can't believe that's considered loud in the UK, my GT3 with no mufflers is not considered that loud, my viper(stock) is quite to me and 3x as Loud as the RES delete, making these cars Loud without catless DP, and no res and either muffler delete or catback just doesn't work, my buddies S3 with no muff or res and catless sounds great!
Im just saying I've noticed people in the UK definition of loud isnt really considered loud over here, and they said multiple times how loud it was, when in frank its not loud at all.
You've clearly never heard a Jaguar F-Type R. That thing is the loudest new stock car I've heard and it's made in the UK. I think they know how to make loud things there :).
Great idea for a vid. I'd take Your hatch over saloon even with the Mods. Absolutely gorgeous in black fucking perfect colour. Go Careful with a res delete on a hatch though. Serious drone on motorways ... S3 acoustic insulation isnt that great.

Yeah man Audi did so well. I didnt think it was possible to make a better looking hatch than the 8V s/rs but they have. Yeah saloon has great shapes I must admit - i actually really liked the pre facelift saloon but not the facelift for some reason and I dont know why maybe the lip of the bumper I dunno. Regarding exhaust - yeah... Ive been in the cockpit of a resonator delete in an S3 on the motorway and i'm telling you it's like being in a ww1 aircraft haha pure hummm. Does ya nut in. Maybe a secondary cat delete instead or a full aftermarket exhaust system? Best of luck whatever you decide mate - chat soon

Res Delete 80pounds, the rest I believe he got a good price from a friend who was getting rid of his car so it wouldn't reflect actual retail value, easily searchable online though mate 👍🏼

Definitely go for it man, such a cheap and easy mod. Most decent exhaust places will do it for £70 - £100.
