If you have “vintage” washer and dryer-you should keep it!! We have a 15 year old Maytag and a repairman told us to keep it as long as possible. They don’t make ‘‘em like they used to!!
I was going to say this too- maybe have it serviced and then enjoy it! They used to be made to last!

Hi Tiffani! My boyfriend works with appliances. He fixes and delivers them. And he says the appliances he does not recommend are anything from a company that makes electronics too. Ex. Samsung or LG. They don’t make good appliances. Also he says stay away from anything that has electronics on moving parts. Like some washers have their electronic control panel on the door that opens. Those break really fast…. He always recommends Speed Queen for washers and dryers and kitchenaid for any kind of dish washer or fridge.

Girl, I totally agree with you on the “everything is bad out there” for food! I follow some people that follow a whole food plant based diet. They make it sound like, unless you eat only stuff that was grown out of the ground, it’s unhealthy. They say even bread and tortilla wraps are too processed! I can’t go there! I ‘ve tried and get overwhelmed and feel defeated and depressed. I do The best I can. You should too. 😊
Totally agree. I think it comes down to a balance really otherwise we'd only be living off air at this stage. I've healed a lot in my food journey otherwise labels alone would be enough to stop me eating.

I recommend Maytag as well. We stayed home this summer as we just retired in Florida from Chicago last October, definitely not missing the winters. Our vacation this year is a cruise to celebrate our 50th anniversary!! I enjoy your channeI, watch during my down time during the day. Aw such cute dogs! Lol my dog loves to sleep in a laundry basket too. When we first brought her home from adopting her she always had a thing for laundry baskets 🧺 😄 so her dog bedding and blanket is in her own laundry basket next to my bed and she loves it. She really loves a big fluffy comforter in there too during the winter. Your chili looks so yummy!
We have a Samsung top load washer and we love it! It's huge and we can fit so much in it. This washer and dryer set is my favorite we've ever had!
Try the jar trick for berries. Any fruit, really. Wash, dry, put a paper towel in a jar with the fruit, close tightly. I do this every week and ours last the whole week, sometimes longer(if they make it without being eaten 🤣).
Me and my husband just got back from visiting my his family in Alabama. Now just waiting for our one year anniversary trip in September.

If you find a washer and dryer you absolutely love and you plan on getting a new set for your main home, maybe take your main set to the vacation house and get new ones that you want and love for your main house. Especially since you use the main one so much more…might as well enjoy it and reuse the front loader 😊

I try to eat as clean as I can and love to exercise. However, my body doesn't always allow me to be as active as I would like due to chronic pain. Washer at least: Speed Queen commercial grade top loader w/ agitator. They hold alot & last forever. I paid $1000 for mine a few years ago. Best washer I ever owned. Most dryers I've had were fine. 😊
Love filling the fridge after vacations! I cut the bottom of the bell pepper first to make a flat base, then cut the rest same as you. 😊 I learned how to quickly cut onions from you for sure!

Me and my son (1.5) went to spain in june for 10 days in a hotel with a pool and near the beach. And in september before fall starts officialy in my country (I am from the Netherlands) I go to a little house on a vacation park in the woods also with a indoor tropical Pool and big playground in and outdoor 🤗 with my son and my parrents its going to be so much fun 👌🏻 taking walks in the woods, and we go to a animalpark nearby. Swimming and just having a lot of fun. So happy for your family that you bought a beach house! Making beautiful memories together. 🤗

Put your berries in a mason jar - with a paper towel cut for the jar then the ring o over it. They stay nice so much longer. It works great with strawberries - never tried it with raspberries

We live in California therefore the blues are at a minimum. There is a light for the winter blues that is extremely helpful to keep your mood elevated. I make my own gluten free pizza base. About half cup gluten free flour (for a biggish serving) and less than half cup strained Greek yogurt, pinch salt. Mix and knead - add more flour if too wet. Wrap and put in fridge fir about 30mins. Roll out on parchment paper and flip onto a dry pan and cook appropriately 4 mins, flip over to cook other side. You can then top it with whatever you like. I then put it onto a pizza stone in the oven and cook about 7 mins at 200°C

I get the summer blues… I miss winter and want a white Christmas. In Texas it doesn’t snow. I’m moving to Minnesota so I’ll be fine. I’m looking forward to the fall leaves and snow and finally having a white Christmas. 😊
There is a ton of flavor in the celery leaves. Soups, stews, and salads (chicken, tuna). Use the leaves like would use the stalks. You won't regret it!

Yes! It probably was a Rachel Ray with the peppers, I learned to cut apples like that from her. About the potted plants, try filling some bottles of water and turning them upside down to gravity feed in the soil when you’re leaving next time. It’s a trick my Moms friend always used for her roses. She used old beer glass bottles.

I always soak produce in a bowl with water and a few splashes of apple cider vinegar. Soak for 5-10 minutes, then let dry on a towel on the counter. When it’s all dry, I put it all in dry containers in the fridge, and it will all last for so much longer. A great savings hack as well!

Got home last night from a week in the Bahamas. 3rd load of laundry is in the washer. Used the resorts laundry bag for dirty clothes I wish summer lasted forever. I’m in the Chicago area so we get all the seasons-sometimes multiple in one day 😂

It is non gmo and no natural ingredients. I also like La tortilla factory cassava flour tortillas. They do not fall apart as bad as the mission brand and they are also non gmo with no natural flavors.

Take your front loaders to the vacation house and get new for your home. That way you have a top loader for everyday use and you’ll only have to use the front loader while on vacation. 🥰🥰
