- Hi Family, welcome back to another tutorial on how to make African threading on short hair. Growing up in Nigeria, threading had always been a part of the lifestyle and hairstyles given to us by teachers. I didn't see the benefits back then, because to me the teachers were just been brutal 😂 it's interesting to note that this is also a protective style that has been used for centuries in Africa. And I am glad to be a part of something great.

I've been HEAVY into african threading since July 7 (diy of course). I redid them (i have 12) on August 17 and WOW my density and length increaded SO MUCH!!! Gonna wear til the end of the year!!! My hair is 11.5 to 13 in all around so this time, ithreaded them but i coiled (pulled the hairbupbthe rubber thread) and wrapped them to keep them extra extra moisturized!!! Her hair looks pretty tight but then again, i am a tender-headed girl!!!
Yes!!! African threading stretches your hair out and increased the length. I've seen that happen with my friends hair and all. It's a good way to style and protect your hair at the same time. As long as you've found something that worked for your hair type, keep doing that.

Hi!! I would like to learn how to the looped threading hairstyle?? That looks really good 😮 and I barely see anyone showing how to do the looped version on medium hair
Hi, I'm wondering if the looped threading hairstyle is different from this. If you can point me towards a video, I will recreate it on my hair. I think my hair is currently at medium length. Or is the hairstyle in the video what you call looped threading?

What kind of thread do you use for the threading
It's yarn thread. The texture is different from the regular yarn people use for knitting.
I am afraid of it notting up at the end
Oh. It won't knot up. The takedown process is also easy. Just hold unto the yarn to unravel it. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching 💕💕
