In South Africa this pattern is called Benny n Betty.
And we use wool.

I used to get this hairstyle as a kid back home in Africa. It's my favorite style because it's less painful than cornrows or braids, I have very tender scalp. Can I get this style at hair salons

Have been having my hair done in this style since I was 6..however had never seen this individual part feed in method...I was used to pattern where u start with one long thread meant to go all the way to end of the line..problem with that method is ech part can bunch up if hair is long...your method here is so much better. I'm def trying it next time I get hair done. 👏 👏 👏 bravo

I have been threading my hair since early July (religiously and redoing every two weeks). Although i wear wigs daily (remove each day), i want a little VAMP in my next threading style! THIS IS IT!!! ❤❤❤
