Jarvis Butts denied he had anything to do with her disappearance; however, detectives were able to retrieve the deleted messages. Na’Ziyah’s grandma and aunts have been accused of covering up for Jarvis.

They definitely treated this situation as if baby girl ran away. And now that Na’ziyah is getting media attention it’s shining light on the family that failed her as well as the school & justice system. That man should’ve never been released from prison

When Na'Ziyah disappeared, the Grandma reported her to the School's Police as a Runaway ~ NOT A MISSING CHILD! Therefore, She Was Not Considered A PRIORITY... The school did a 1 month delay, before the case was turned over to the Detroit Police Department... A Lot O Crucial Time Was Lost Because Of That!!!
The school police didn't do a month long investigation. The guy that was "investigating" he was retiring w/i the near future. So he left the case file on his desk at his departure, the school did nothing it just sat. No one was hired in his place until a month later. That's when the incoming person was hired & it was turned over to DPD.

At the time of Na'Ziah's disappearance, Shannon "May Have" had 4 kids in the home ~ she was pregnant with the 5th child (Shannon & Na'Ziyah were both pregnant by Jarvis). The 9 year-old that testified was Shannon's twin sister Marquita's daughter. That child's father tried to snatch Jarvis up in the courtroom, & he was removed...
Shannon had 5 kids...she was pregnant with the 6th baby...yes she & Na'Zyiah were both pregnant as of Jan 9th 2024
She lied in court saying he didn't come in her home.
He was around since Naziyah was 2yrs old. He was messing with that baby way before they started texting.

@sherryhoward7298 The mother can not be 41 . The twins are 31 she has 7 kids Naziyah mother is 36 she would have been 5 when she gave birth. When you look up the deed to her home it says owner Annette Bussey Harris age 61.
If they said her item's were near the lake they need the search team this case is sad 😢
No the Preliminary has happened already. March 7th is the Calendar Conference where they discuss the trial date & work out the logistics.
Both grandma and aunt knew she was pregnant according to the text she had to be like 4 months in January hense the judge saying how is it they didnt know she was pregnant am guessing the women were probably afraid of consequences for allowing a known pedophile around a minor hense why they acted so weird about her disappearance I pray to god they are investigated because the three of them are in on it.
