He keeps throwing money down, I would be sweating. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE that truck but damn man I have a family and their needs come before my wants.
Yep exactly what I was thinking sir
Spoken like a true family man, huge respect to ya!
These guys know how to run a business!! Excellent Customer service, Knowledgable and Quality products at reasonable prices.
I’d love to see you guys build a first gen dodge next
Yes first gen!
I've wanted first gen forever
1st gen with a "poverty pump"!
Build a common rail! For sure! With Josh!
If another give away truck is built, keep true to the PDD roots, 12v. From a logical standpoint, not everyone can work on or diagnose a fummins, figure out how to find parts for a 60’s era car with a Cummins, or chase wires on a 10 year old common rail truck. Keep true to the all go, no show mentality with a 2nd gen 12v for a giveaway vehicle. All basic replacement parts are readily available, plenty of folks know how these engines work, and it keeps true to what PDD was established on. 12 valves. You could even serialize each vehicle for future generation collectors.
TODD IS A DAMN GIANT!
Will is a hobbit and Justin was about the same size so they were just short
How tall is he?? Lol
I met him and spoke with him last year at UCC. Real cool, down to earth guy, and he is super tall at 6'9".
@@chrisjordan5751 Wow that is super tall.. Glad you were able to meet him! Thanks for the info!
Man that would be one hell of a choice to make, because that's a lot of money and it's one hell of a truck. All said and done, I agree with Todd, I'm happy to see the truck go to someone who really wants it. Congratulations Justin.
Build another Agnes, actually I'm sure whatever you build...........people will be happy to hear their name called for it! Awesome build guys, looks like they'll enjoy the hell outta Agnes in Texas
do a give away where you build the winners personal truck with 25 grand.
They've done that twice now
@@cummins2949 another one. (Also, your username is GOLD.)
Those Mexican plants getting plenty of natural plant food .. 👊🏻💪🏻
You know it!
Finish building my 1987 Chevy V20 4x4 with a 1997 12 valve 215hp P-pump that originally had a 6.2L Detroit V8 diesel
I’d like to see you build a max effort, four wheel drive street strip common rail truck. Like a third or fourth gen with Hamilton performance 6.7 wet block and head, all Hamilton’s newest rotating assembly and valve train. Max effort 48re, like a solid 1200+ hp truck you could legit daily drive. I know it would be expensive, but make the lottery last longer until you can sell plenty of parts to justify giving away a build like that. Either way, love the channel! Particularly the content on Josh’s truck and other common rails. Keep up the good work!
That would be an awesome build!
Well I just graduated and got my nursing license this month and have my first job lined up, been watching your videos since before I got into school and want nothing more than to have y'all build my dream truck, a compound 12 valve manual transmission excursion. Already have the excursion and the go ahead from my lady. Gonna save up some cash to hand over upfront. Not sure if it would be a cool video to make but your more than welcome to make some content about it. Can't wait to make that drive up from Texas to get it started 🤟
I think a 2007 Cummins would be really cool
Stack of cash... $25k... Justin called it, IMO. Very nice truck. No wrench time, just drive and enjoy. I wrench on my stuff because I can't afford to pay someone. I end up with a bunch of tools that see little use.
Great build guys! Love the content too. The all GO no show give away was fun to watch and having my 20 bucks in on it too made you feel mor apart of it. But for me an All TOW no show would suit me better. So a crew cab for the family or the help would fit the bill nicely. I wouldn't have taken the cash either. Lol..
That is awesome! So an ultimate tow rig would be your vote for the next give away!
@@pddofficial yup, im sure there more working families and ppl who use there trucks for more than grocerie getters out there. So a 500-600 HP reliable rig capable of towing 25K plus would be my vote. Thanks for all the content you and your guys put out.
12v in a squarebody. I have one but i want to see you guys go above and beyond with it😂
I’d take the truck. It’s worth more than 25k now a days. Especially the work that is put into it from this shop.
He did take
That's a tough ass decision holy shit. 20k is a lot of cash but damn a built 12v is a dream
I must have come by shortly after that burnout. Pretty good skids in the driveway. Thanks to whomever it was I talked to today. I appreciate your answering my questions.
Any time! Burnouts in the drive way are a common occurrence around here, but that distinctive tread pattern is hard to miss!
The truck or the cash that’s a hard one, but he made the right choice for him, thanks that was a great end to a great build David
Good on him. Truly nice power producer. I'd keep the truck too.
Totally would have taken truck too…can’t beat an old 12 v
I would have probably taken the cash. My dream truck is a long bed Bull nose or earlier Ford with a P pump 12v, and an unsynchronized manual transmission with an auxiliary. And before you ask why, because unsynchronized transmissions feel so nice to shift once you learn to do it consistently, and an auxiliary because twin stick. I'll build that eventually, but I would get a lot more out of $20k, especially right now.
Oooo sick
Great idea!
I’d love to see a 12v in an old school crew cab 72 Ford truck!!!!
They are fun to look at, but hell to ride in. All steel cab, it's like riding in the engine bay. No amount of dyna mat can over come that kind of noise.
@@dragthatsht True but the plastic dash doesn't crack and fall out in 10 years either.
I want to see that '71 charger build!!
It's coming!
I really want to see the charger running
I think he did the right thing!!! Love the truck!!!🇺🇸
That’s going to be a fun drive on the way back to Texas!
Exactly what I was thinking, bet I’d come home with a ticket or two
2010 f350 fummins. With a 2005 commonrail. Fully loaded .
Love to see that drivetrain in a Prius. Make people's head explode
04-07 common rail truck.
But before any giveaway would like to see it head to head with 12v of the same power ratings with multiple passes and drivers in each (get true data on what's better 12v or common rail)
Also say do some true daily working exercises with them (towing, hauling, pulling, running accessories ((compressors, generators, ect)).
Maybe even some dual rear wheel trucks. I dont know all your stuff is cool.
I think a 5.9 in something like a Dakota would be cool. Then turn it up just to see what the Dakota can handle (that should be funny) and maybe compare it to the s10 and ranger lol.
Again I think everything you guys build is cool. So keep up the awesome work.
“Poverty pump” 🤣💀 im with the cash and pimping out a 3rd gen 👌🏻
Me too! Was thinking the same!
Absolutely another giveaway!! Commonrail or another 12 valve
I am happy for the winner and I hope he feels the same about that truck as I do about mine, my 2007 Ram 3500 dully is never going anywhere but with me, maybe one day when it just a motor and frame she might get retired but not until then.
06-07 common rail 1000hp
This is literally my dream truck
It was such a fun truck to drive!
06 to 07 5.9 mega cab built for towing!!
Awesome guys that truck is rad fun video
we really liked that truck as well!
His wife at home like ... YOU IDIOT ! Lol I’d take the truck any day
12v swap in a mil surplus Humvee.
I've got one down here in Hurricane you can use ;)
Cp3 swap a 2nd gen 24v!! I'd love to see that!
Do another giveaway!!! I would have taken the truck for sure!! Guy made a good choice!
Build a 4th gen that came with all the emissions on. A 68rfe and over 200k miles. That would be cool too see
Good man keeps the dinosaurs alive and on the road
24v build would be neat to see
Beautiful truck.. Id love 2 have that .. It's exactly what I want. Id love for it to be a quad cab 5sp.12v
You guys should definitely build a common rail next to give away
A first gen build would be outstanding
Build a 94-95 international dt530 they used p-pumps those two years, their blocks and cranks are damn near indestructible and stock head bolts will take 100 lbs of boost if you don't go nuts with the timing. A mild 13mm and something like hx60 hx82 compounds put it in a old needlenose KW or Peterbilt with a 4 link on the rear and either a 9 speed or some big Allison! 8.7 liters of jaw dropping torque for a camper hauler/drag strip/burnout machine!!
That's something I wouldn't mind winning!!
That or do something with a 4bt;
So awesome!
That was classy.
That chedda wouldn’t have made it past Vegas 😂
03-04 common rail ...I feel those years get over looked
What a great video and badass truck. Well done guys ! Even me living in France I’m out to Mexico ones a week...😂💨💨💨💨
Have fun! Keep it safe while in Mexico!
Power Driven Diesel haha... thanks guys 😬🤘🏻
Yall should do a late 90s Cadillac catera and put a Cummins in it a guy where near me has a tubed catera he has set up for drag racing and it looks awsome and unique/original
Very tempting bet it looks killer!
Great decision love it man aftery own heart yay. 😀
06-07 mega cab!
Common rail like Josh's!
I’d love to have my lifted 93 first gen 12 valve on your channel!!! Be an awesome chance to shake your guys’ hands.!!!
I always forget how popular Diesel Performance is in Southern Utah. I lived in Hurricane and St. George for 10 years and went to Sand Hollow and Coral Pink Sand Dunes frequently it was very common to see some idiot trying to sand bog in a diesel or seeing them bury themselves in wet red clay.
His shirt says "Straight outs Money" !!!
Smart guy love the build
Thank You Steven
you guys should do a 4bt cummins build
I do have access to a p-pumped 4b!
11:30 I expected the truck and cash to be gone lmfao
I’d like to see a 600hp P-pumped 24v G56 1978-79 Ford 4x4 regular cab for everyday every task use.. Got a nice spot in the garage.
Single cab short box 4x4 12v!
Common rail charger/challenger!
Hey guys! This was a cool! Show us more builds like that! Wit some cool drama at the end like that! Keep up the good work anyway! I am a John Deere 6.8l engine guy, but love to see your 5.9l/6.7l cummins content! Thanks greez
I say do a 1000 hp common rail daily - hot rod combo motor and transmission and put it in the individual’s truck that wins
What I'd like to win: A square-body Chevy 3500 crew cab 4x4 dually with 6.7 / 6spd
Would you go custom long bed or keep it short bed?
@@pddofficial I would personally just keep it short, but that's a good point. With that kind of muscle for towing, a longer wheel base, upgraded brakes, etc would be wise.
Power Driven Diesel long bed. Short beds are unlesss
Gee, I never knew that I actually been to Mexico before..
I'd like to see y'all build a p pumped 24v Fummins :)
Had one a few years ago! Currently have a the same engine in a obs Chevy
If you were to build another giveaway vehicle, I'd put a 4BT in a 90's Civic (92-95 body style before 96 emissions) with a 5-speed manual. Man, that would be fun to drive!
Dude that's a crazy idea! That would be a wild ride!
Me the whole time....the truck the truck the truck
Goes home and immediately puts it on fb market place for 30k
a common rail 5.9 would be nice
This is amazing
First one here that never happened. Keep up the good work 👌that was really cool of you guys to do that. You can tell he really wants that truck.
I have a Freightliner FL70 service truck with a p pump 12 valve. I think it would be really cool to see you build a motor that can move a 21,000 pound truck everyday. Something a guy can rely on, but would be able pull a hill faster than a diesel Luv.
We've worked on those before, they are too heavy to get away with the typical fuel plate delete mods or whatever the kids think is cool today. At that weight, definitely need to add air if you plan to add power to keep it reliable. Factory engine with 4k governor springs, AFC LIVE, moderate timing advance, and PDD ultimate towing compounds and that FL70 would come to life! Maybe tune it to around 325 WHP or whatever the transmission could handle and it would be reliable and move out well!
@@pddofficial would fire rings be worth it? How much timing would be safe? I was thinking 18 degrees. It has an Eaton trans, haven't cared enough to get the exact model yet
I am die hard p pump guy but I would like to see what you could make a vp44 do!!!!
It would be tough to make a reliable VP44 setup that tops the last give-away 12v. Maybe with the help of a bottle or two, we could surpass 850 HP....
Fun episode !!! I would have taken the cash!!.........I like my CR!
This is awesome. Sucks that I missed it me being a Cummins guy this would of been very awesome ill just continue to mess with my old 12 p pump
Please build a 4bt or 6bt 67 Power Wagon or old school looking power wagon with a cummins. Thank you
1st gen 4x4 extended cab 24V ! 1500hp!
Very nice! Kinda scared about the chassis handling on a 1st gen with anything north of about 500 HP. Should we lower it and maybe do some air ride or coil overs to make it manage that power?
@@pddofficial I would do a full 4 link front and rear conversion both with TJM air lockers, adjustable height air ride, and dual Fox remote reservoir shocks on the front and back. Disconnectable sway bars would be the "piece de la resistance". Want me to come help out? :) Why not add a full roll cage with bed bars and some cool bumpers and winches?
@@pddofficial I drove my 89 D250 with 600+hp and 1250+tq for 100,000miles with all stock suspension even maybe racing Mustang Cobras on the interstate to 160MPh, I never had an issue but it was on Radial street treads and the utility bed probably held it down some extra. The lift blocks on the 4wd do make the axles wrap bad with out traction bars.
Late model 3rd gen build 💯💯🔥
Fummins 12v with a 2012 f250
He made the right choice 😎
Either a 2nd gen VP and try to break the HP record or a 12v swap into a late sixties muscle car
Since the engine in my 2012 6.7 crew cab seized up at 90,000 miles I think you should build a very nice 6.7 combo then give me a chance to win then put it in my truck!! P.s. I’m about to order a bunch of stuff from you guys! I’m glad he took the truck!!
Awesome
I'd have taken the truck too. A 4BT build would be cool see.
Will / Todd: I challenge you to build a King Of The Hammers, Pre Runner, or Trophy Truck which is pictured as part of a desert race: Baja 1000, Mint 400, etc.
That was awesome good job guys
Wire fire Josh haha. Get a 2 stroke Detroit build underway
That sounds like a challenge, aren't they fairly heavy? Like we'd need a vintage medium duty to wrap around that engine platform?
That’s is so sweet of a 12 value Cummins truck , l like my 12 value truck you should do a Another project like that one I’m still won’t more power in my 12 value I have 5 by12 injectors 22 degrees Advance timing Full cute delivery valve 60 pound Valve spring 4K governor Springs Headstones With a stock turbo I don’t know how much Horsepower I making yet . but is so much good time with it
That stock turbo will limit you to around 375 hp but your torque is probably around 900!
POVERTY PUMP😂😂💀💀
Do a giveaway and Build a customer’s truck. Maybe even a diesel swap or a repower. I’d love to do a Cummins swap in my 6.Blow! If I had won Agnes the engine & trans would have gone in my Excursion!
I keep telling my wife we are going to swap our excursion when the 6.0 goes out. It is at 360k and still ripping. Is it bad to be mad that the truck still works great?
Power Driven Diesel you are definitely one of the lucky ones! I have 10kish in rebuilding my 6 blow x2. Nothing crazy fancy. Stuff for reliability: fire ring heads, ARP studs, good fuel pump, billet turbo, 58v FICM, New injectors, etc. about once a year something happens. The most recent was a cup falling off of a NEW injector, flooding the cylinder and cracking a piston. Problem is this happens ONCE A YEAR. And I’m sick of dumping 5k at a time minimum in keeping it on the road. It’s @ 260k now. I’m dying for a 5.9 OR 6.7 swap. And if I had won Agnes, I’d have handed the 5k back, let you keep rolling chassis and we would have swapped that 850hp beast and built trans in my Exe. Man that would be a sweet reliable machine. The perfect Excursion. The way it should have come from the factory.
Great stuff.....I would have kept the truck as well !!!
Man this is great guys lol
I would take the truck
Thank you
I'd like to see a late 2nd gen (98.5-02) with a 6.7 block, and 2nd gen 24v head making 1000hp on a vp44 setup.
Fuel-only is gonna be dang near impossible, those VP44's lack fuel delivery in a big way, especially at RPM.... but with a heavy dose of methanol injection and some nitrous, it could possibly happen!
