I play this rendition by Marin Mazzie, to keep me going. Cancer, fighting, getting bad news, tests, tests, tests, but the world goes round. Marin Mazzie for me, has the most beautiful voice that can go from lightly gentle to powerful and strong. Brilliant! The only Clara, the best Clara!
I hope you're through the worst of it and are looking forward to the festiveseason. Take care.
💓💓💓
How are you doing? Bless u
I'm still going through treatment too, and her grace gives me such a warm feeling. Thank God we had her!
This is just gorgeous. Rest In Peace beautiful lady. ❤ Said hello to her once outside a theater - she could not have been lovelier or more gracious.
Thankful that Broadway has chosen to dim the lights in recognition of one of its finest talents...we'll miss you, Marin Mazzie.
I watch this whenever I'm having a tough day. What a gift she left us.
RIP magnificent lady. You make our spins on this world so much more beautiful.
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
What an absolute Dame of talent in every sense of the word...her versatile vocal techique...her phenomenal diction...interpretation...comic timing...musicianship...phrasing...musicality...dynamics...expression...inclusive energy in working with others-in all aspects of theatre...you name it...BRAVA to
Miss Mazzie! Thank God for the gift of recorded music! We are blessed to have so many glorious audio and video recordings by which to remember this
phenomenal talent!
RIP, Diva Mazzie...
Such a master class in grace under pressure. I couldn’t have been as strong as she was. I strive to be. I saw her in many concerts and shows after she was diagnosed and she never gave any less than 110%. She will be much missed. She’s an inspiration.
So agree love her she was so beautiful her husband must be devastated

Grateful that utube keeps these performances alive❤️
First her and just a couple of weeks ago we lost Rebecca Luker. I never got to see either of them live but certainly followed them on here and was very shaken by both of their deaths. Such gems. My heart goes out to those they left behind.
A beauty, an amazing gigantic talent and a lovely kind lady to boot. I met her at a reception and she was enchanting. I first saw her in Ragtime in Toronto. When she sang Back To Before my jaw went slack and fell to the floor. I was hooked from that moment on and from that point on tried to see her in everything I could. The last thing I saw her in was Bullets Over Broadway and though the show was not great, she illuminated every scene she was in. She truly was one of a kind and the theatre is diminished without her.
Whenever my day seems to be going badly, I listen to this over and over again, a truly talented, gifted artist. As theatergoers, we are all so aware of how lucky we were to have had her in our lives.
As a cancer survivor, when I hear the inflection of her words in this song, she shows such incredible grace. Thank you, Marin, you are missed by those who knew you, and the rest of us who were lucky enough to have seen you.
Thank you for your kind words. And bless you.

Marin Mazzie-- an amazing, God-given, positive force for love and compassion in our world. She was with us! God bless!
She is a true story teller when she sings. Love her. RIP.
Hearing her sing this song, knowing about her illness and with the sad news of her passing just a few days ago made me cry. An absolutely masterful rendition of this song.
Her voice always feels like home to me.
This is the song I sing to myself when I am having a crappy day. It helps. Miss her so much but so grateful that if I am having one of those days I can listen to Marin. She was an incredible performer and I am blessed to have seen her so many times.
Love her. In a lifetime of theatregoing Ms Mazzie has given me (and undoubtedly countless others) some of my most treasured performances. A truly great Dame.
