When I heard the first minute I thought this is Sentenced :D I can clearly see this is a follwer to them. Though I'm not sure is this on purpose or did they just happen to make very similar music. But sounds good, I shall explore this stuff more! I'm happy this doesn't sound too much Sentenced, this is more rock'n rollish.

@PrologueToDemise I totally agree. I feel like metal fans in particular are very quick to criticize a band for changing their sound or straying away from their 'old shit.' Personally, as long as the quality is maintained, I find it kind of uplifting to hear a band evolve. It just proves that they are still alive, creative and innovative opposed to stuck the past.
Actually sentenced if i'm not mistaken is a side band that ville did just for fun, his main band is poison black, but it just prove that Awsome things were created and we 'll miss sentenced.

I talked to JP about it, that's how I get Charon's last couple albums on Spotify. I'll check with him again if he can ask Ville or someone at the record label to put em. I just think it's something they forgot.
That's where you are totally wrong. Sentenced was the main band, and Poisonblack was the side band which Ville founded mainly because he wanted to play the main guitar while singing. Also the basist was also part of Sentenced before they disbanded.
Hmm, I actually think that Laihiala's voice is again good sounding on this new song. His voice went a bit "mainstream" on their 2 last albums but he seems to have his own style back for this one. Can't wait to hear the rest.
@dantemayhem Lust Stained Despair isn't an album, it's a masterpiece, the lyrics entwine together with the melody perfectly. Its a fact for me now, poisonblack became heavy, abandoned the Gothic style i loved so much. I didn't like Setenced neither i like this new sound... Still hoping to find something resembling that music, can someone give me a recommendation?

not a huge fan of the other poisonblack stuff or the last few sentenced albums, but this is a cool song, it would be fun to drive to

Sounds more like Lust stained despair and even Sentenced. Works for me! I didn't like last album as much as Lust stained despair.

this band isn't as good as sentenced, the songs are not as consistent and the lyrics aren't as good
